Grass Gap Practice

(Edited)

The older I get the less I like to skate stairs and gaps and it's not that I don't like the feeling! I actually believe jumping down stuff is the best feeling in skateboarding but if I do jump down stuff my whole body is so sore the next day so I prefer not too.

That been said, I do like to practice my go-to tricks every now and then and yesterdays session at the skatepark was a great opportunity to do so.

After a solid warm-up I started jumping down the grass-gap and god damn it felt good. Didn't land that many tricks but did land all the basics along with a Sw Heel which I haven't done for a good while now.

Enjoy watching and #SKATEHIVE4LIFE

Jumping down in skating can get someone injured
It’s better to stay away just as you have said

I find it's the same with everything as you get older. I started to do yoga again a few weeks ago, and was aching all over the next morning. I can imagine what skateboarding can do to your body

Yeah, getting older sucks, but it is what it is!

Yoga is awesome and your body will get used to the soreness of the next day after a while!

Let's stay active ❤️
