German Bundesliga Prediction Game
I'm a big-time lover of football, but to tell you the truth, I don't get too involved in league matches the way I dedicate myself to tournaments like the FIFA World Cup (men and women), the Olympics, and AFCON. It's not that I don't watch league matches—I watch a lot too—but only when I'm free. This is the complete opposite of how I am during tournaments like the FIFA World Cup and AFCON, where I leave work early just to go and watch football.
But things have changed since the beginning of this season, and my interest has been well-channeled into the German Bundesliga because of a prediction game I discovered on this blockchain.
To be very honest, it's not like I have become extremely serious about watching matches—nope, it's still my usual way—but the vibe of tagging along with the games, predicting matches every weekend, and eagerly looking forward to scoring high points has been exciting.
I joined the prediction game when I came across Jaki01's post. I just decided to give it a shot since I'm not good at predicting games because I don't do betting. Ever since then, my weekends have been filled with laughter due to my poor scores, and on the weekends I score 20 points or more, I usually feel on top of the world. 😂
Since I began, my worst score at the end of a weekend has been 5 points, and this has happened twice. Interestingly, the most recent occurrence was last weekend, and I really hope never to experience that again. So, God help me—Amen!
This weekend (as of the date of writing this), things started well. I earned 5 points in the Friday night game between St. Pauli and Hoffenheim, which St. Pauli won by a single goal (1-0). I had predicted a 2-1 scoreline, so in the end, I got 5 points.
Currently, I'm in 16th place on the table with an overall score of 434 points, and I have been rotating around this position for many months. I really hope to climb up by the end of the season.
As for the people at the top, sometimes I assume they have a way of seeing the end of the game before it even starts. Lol. Magical!
Thanks for reading.
