TALK SPORTS

But when my dad transferred me to a school in another state where I met this basketball team and a very good basketball coach, I went to the basketball court one morning and for the first time it felt like where I wanted to be quiet a different from football. When I took my first basket ball shot after seeing how my friend/roommate took it, I knew immediately that I was made for it. And when the coach saw the way I shoot, he asked if I had played as a 3 pointer before, I told him I didn't know anything about the game, and that was when he started to train me. According to him I had a natural talent for that position.
A month later I became the 3 pointer for my basketball team. I would go to the basketball court after practice, and practice shooting from a long range at different positions. I would be there for hours until I probably get hungry and that was how I became so good in that position but then again I did it all just for the fun of it. Now you see those practice I did shooting long distances most times from more than half the field and then going on in a game and pulling off such a stunt in the last minute of the game just when my team was losing by a point. I believe you can imagine the crowd going wild… if you were watching such a game how would you feel?
The thing about sports is it makes us see a part of ourselves we could only wish existed. And seeing people put in years of hard work to play and deliver stunts you could never do in your lifetime can be so amazing, for a moment you would just wish you could kiss them. And then there are those who watch and are inspired to replicate or do better than these athletes. My love for watching football made me good at basketball. I always love to shoot from long distances, but I'm not good in the midfield position to create crosses and long strikes but I'm good at making runs and tapping in-between spaces.
But with my hands on the basketball, I have a stronger grip and can make controls I couldn't do with my legs. When I watch people like Kevin De Bruyne I'm inspired to want to show off a version of those skills in basketball. Then we get to the point where you need to support a team to win, and you back them up to win every time they play. The whole emotion just runs wild within you like you are playing through your team in a position or they are representing you who is supporting them. Apart from these I just mentioned, others watch sports because of how much bet they have made 😂.

In my case my passion encompasses a broader spectrum of sports and I love athletics, volleyball, chess, judo, baseball, among others. But, I also enjoy soccer and basketball.
In soccer I was not as prominent as in basketball and played the point guard position.
I did it on one occasion and I felt an indescribable joy for all that it meant and how popular that victory made me. Thanks for sharing.
Happy weekend.
Cheers and best regards.
