Smash Your Stress Away, Play Badminton.
Hi Hive! I hope you are all feeling well. This blog is all about badminton.
Badminton
Badminton is a sport that anyone can enjoy. You can play for competition or exercise with family and friends. Badminton keeps you fit, improves co-ordination and makes games fun. Last but not least, badminton requires minimum or no specialty equipment. All you need is a racket, a shuttlecock, and the space where one can play.
Playing with Friends
The best part of badminton is playing with friends. I play with Jam and AJ most of the time, two of my best friends in school. Every time we play, it’s full of excitement and fun. We push each other to do better. We cheer for each other when we win. We tease each other sometimes when we make tiny mistakes. But we always have fun playing badminton together.
Advantages of Badminton with Friends
Playing badminton with our friends is fun but it is also a healthy game. It keeps us healthy and fit because running around the court makes us more active and we are always exercising. It makes us more coordinated because we have to coordinate and communicate to each other so that we can play doubles. Most importantly, playing badminton calms us down and is stress-reducing. After tiring school class and study hours, badminton playing is the perfect way to unwind and have fun.
Among other sports, why badminton?
I like badminton because it's the only sport that I feel good to play. If I play with any other sport like basketball and volleyball, I get so tired and my stomach would hurt so bad. But if I play badminton it's the opposite. I get to exercise without wasting too much energy and it's enjoyable.
Making Memories Out of the Game
Playing badminton isn’t just about what happens on court. It’s also about the time we spend together before and afterward. We always laugh when something funny happens in a game, like missing an easy shot or accidentally hitting the shuttlecock too hard. We always treat ourselves to good food afterward. Whatever one eats, it’s a pleasure to eat together afterwards. They’re little rituals that make badminton something greater than just a game—it’s a moment shared.
Badminton to me isn’t just a sport. It’s a way to have fun, keep fit, and hang out with my best friends Jam and AJ. The times we spend together when we play makes our friendship even stronger and helps us to de-stress. I want to have many more games with them with smiles, good competition and of course good food after the game.
