My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2025 - Church, Cosplay and Crypto
Like my post title? Well the actual post isn't really about religion or cosplay or even crypto. It is more about human psychology and sociology. Why do we behave the way we do?
Recently I found Darante' LaMar on YouTube. He was a preacher most of his life but now believes preaching is more performance art than speaking supernatural truth. In this video he compares religious expression to cosplay, where each person plays the role they think is expected of them by the others in their group.

But I'm not talking about that in this post. I'm fine with anyone practicing any religion in any way they want. If you are happy with your religion, that's great. I'm not too happy if you try to coerce me into believing your religion though. Unless you are my parents. I believe every parent has the right, maybe even the obligation, to teach their kids about their culture, including their religious beliefs. Everyone needs an understanding of their family's history and what they expect of you as you become an adult. But once you are an adult, you may want to try and get to know other cultures and religions. You may find that other people, even those with different ideas and beliefs, are a lot like you when you get down to basics.
I'm writing this post to talk about crypto and communities that grow up around them. One might think that these crypto fans are tapping into the same psychology and sociology that religious folk and cosplay partakers access in their behavior toward those in their group and those outside their group.
Some say diehard defenders of one or another crypto are in a cult. Some people actually define their group that way and are happy to be thought of as cult members. Apparently those in cults are not likely to leave, and someone holding some crypto wants the other people in their group to be holders who don't ever intend to take leave of their crypto stack. A fanatic group of holders should lead to lower supply for sale and therefore higher price, all other things being equal. But a lower supply also can lead to more volatility. Those who got into the crypto when it started, and probably therefore at very low prices, can take advantage of the holders holding while they trade in and out, and then maybe just leave completely by selling their big bags that bring the price crashing down.
I say, be educated about what you're doing in life. Learn as much as you can, both for and against, about your religion, your stories you live your life by, and the cryptos you choose to get involved with. See what is going on with the different players. See who benefits by always being a cheerleader for the crypto. See who is more thoughtful and is not afraid to talk about the things that need to be discussed and fixed, and not just the good things. Try to get along with different factions as best as you can. Actively listen to different points of view. Try not to marry your point of view, or your crypto. You may be better off with a change. Or stick around until the end; it is truly up to no one else but you!
My Activity
today wasn't very much. I had some obligations to take care of during most of the day. I have made some programming progress on the #PEPE Game today and hope to do more in the next few days. Gems Are Coming!
I took my daily nightly walk. It was mid 50s again, which is nice walking weather. It's also wonderful to see clearly where you are going at night. That happens around the Full Moon, and we're about at one. I saw it up nearly directly above, and it did light my path with it's silvery reflected light.
Walk in the light my friends! Get along with your neighbors, which means all of the rest of us.
Have a Great Day! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Same sentiments here. I accepted even as an adult to be what my parents has been because it's working on me.
As everything you need to think with your own head
I think parents should explain but they shouldn't force rules on you... For example pick a family of fanatics, if they teach the son that's correct to beat women that don't respect you, you can't accept that and do it or agree just because they are your parents, it's wrong end of story
Understanding both the potential benefits and risks, as well as identifying who stands to gain from the narratives surrounding different cryptocurrencies, can empower individuals to make choices that are best suited for their circumstances.
At the end, we keep learning more and more in the crypto world
We never can know it all so we have to do more of observations, learning and relearning
