Yesterday on the 7th famed folk singer and songwriter Peter Yarrow left us at age 86. He was one of three singers in Peter, Paul and Mary. They had several hits including Puff the Magic Dragon which Yarrow co-wrote.

Let's watch and listen to Peter, Paul and Mary singing their famous cover of Bob Dylan's song for Peace - Blowin' in the Wind. The song went to number 2 on the charts and sold over a million records.

My Activity

today was surprisingly good! Look at that number! 11K whoop whoop!

I got it from being fidgety having been stuck indoors most of the day. We're in the heart of Winter now, and its only going to get worse. We expect a snow and ice storm here on Friday! 😲

Even in freezing temps I managed a good length walk. The ski jacket kept me warm but I needed to have its hood up over my regular black beanie hat.

That moon was up there! Shining bright, reflecting the sun at about 80% of full capacity. It was about 45 degrees up from the horizon since shadows appeared about as tall as the object casting them.

Did you see the moon? It will be the same one I looked at. It will be the same one every person who ever looked at the sky looked at. It was looked at by every creature on this one Earth we share that has the capacity for looking.
