My Actifit Report Card: August 18 2024 - New Music from The Linda Lindas

I've mentioned The Linda Lindas before. These 4 young ladies from California rock! Their new album No Obligation drops in October and a few tunes are already out.

First let's hear Yo Me Estreso which is a Spanish Waltz kind of rock tune which may sound weird but check it out. Actually it features Weird Al on accordion which is... interesting! There is a tuba and trumpet in the mix too. The costumes are colorful to the point of clownish. You need to see it to believe it!

Next let's listen to a more typical Indie Rock tune called All In My Head. This is a bit harder but I think most people will like it. The video adds a little story to the lyrics. There is some stopping and restarting of the music which is a bit annoying but I guess it works. There are no extra instruments in this one, just the guitars and drums. It rocks!

My Activity

today included 27 pushups and some dumbbell weight lifting. Then I went to a party for a few hours which was mostly standing around and talking.

At night I did get out for my typical walk but it was still rather hot out. The full moon was out! Go out and see it if you can.
