This season is done and dusted for Liverpool.

While some teams still have something to play for, some others are basically showing up for games, and that will remain the case for the two gameweeks that are remaining before we bid farewell to this season.

It's been a rather uninspiring season for Liverpool and I'm one of those who's genuinely disappointed with how we handled games in the last quarter of this season. The performance we've been putting up has been awful across all competition. We had all the odds in our favor when we got knocked out of the FA Cup.

I couldn't even believe it because I thought we would win that competition with ease. However, we got knocked out due to our own inefficiency. The same was the case when we were paired to play against Atalanta in the Europa League. That wasn't a tough game on paper. Liverpool had all the odds in their favor. Yet, we snoozed in the first leg of the game and allowed Atalanta to serve us a well-deserved punishment.

Remember the comeback we pulled against Barcelona in UCL? I thought we would be able to smoothly run through Atlanta in the second leg of the game. We even got a very early goal through a penalty in the first 5 minutes of the game. All we had to do was to create a shit ton of chances and at the very least, level the scoreline before halftime.

I believe you know how that story turned out. It was one of the most boring game of football I've witnessed this season. Liverpool got bodied by Atalanta's physical football and we ended up passing the ball around our own half when we should be pressing down Atalanta's neck.

I will be honest... I didn't expect Liverpool to be in any serious title race when we were beginning the season. We had a completely new midfield and each of them has had their moments, but I just didn't think we would be contending for anything. However, halfway through the season, it felt like we could be aiming for all 4 titles. A quadruple in Klopp's final season would have been so poetic.

However, we started to crumble and we failed without holding a break. After so many weeks of not getting results, we finally managed to get a 4 - 2 win in today's game against Tottenham.

Erm... A win is always good. But this season is pretty much over for Liverpool. I'm looking forward to what a Liverpool without Klopp would look like. To even think about that is both scary and interesting. Haha.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

I like your honest review but the way you used the pronoun "we", as if you were on the field kicking the ball too😂😂

I can't still understand guys and football. It's like it's coded in the DNA😁.

Wait o....if you were truly on the Liverpool team, then what part would you play; midfield, defense or strikers?

Lol... Na so football dey do us oooo. This game is just too thrilling for most guys and in my case, I think I'm more of a Liverpool fan than a football fan. Haha. I don't miss Liverpool's games but it's hard to see me watch any other football game. Haha.

You asked an interesting question oooo. If I'm playing for Liverpool, the Right-Back position would be my best because they are involved in all aspects of the game, both defensively and attacking wise. Haha.

Haha... Bro. TAA is an absolute legend in that Klopp's Liverpool. I wonder how things will be with the lad when we get a new manager running the team

A hugely disappointing second half of the season for Liverpool, I couldn't even bear to continue watching the matches.

We bottled the league, again.
The league was in our hands, it was ours to keep but no! I don't even want to think of it so much because I am not being paid for it, not like they would remember me in the celebrations. The least you can do for Ur fans is to win games and trophies especially when you are in a position to win.

Bro. This second half of the season was an absolute disgrace from Liverpool. We were squeezing out late winners and comebacks in the first half of the season and getting the job done with academy boys when we didn't have a full squad. However, the moment everyone was back, everything started to get messy beyond measures.

Don't worry Liverpool won't fall your hands next season. But why is the club still wasting time to sign you up?, hehehe

I am a lover of football but I lost interest recently but let us see how it will turn out for Liverpool next season as you have pointed out.

Haha... You don leave football for us already. Which club did you support when you were still digging into the game?

As for me and Liverpool, I'm not sure of what to expect although our current reality shows we may be dealing with a lot of disappointing performance next season

I was and I am still a Chelsea Fan.

But I don't watch football anymore.

I can watch highlights.

I don't see marches because they create suspense. But many people like you are very interested. Which is a good thing. Nice experience.

Yeah. I understand the idea of not watching games because of the suspense. It's a very reasonable idea. Haha.

It is really quite a disappointing season for Liverpool I believe considering the standard they set in the previous seasons

Exactly. It's been a rather uninspiring season for us and I don't know how the next season would be. We just have to see the end of this season before looking forward to what next season will present.
