Rough day at the office for Liverpool... 3 Points Nailed.
Liverpool traveled to Molineux Stadium to play against Wolves this Saturday evening. This game has a lot of stakes attached to it because Manchester City already dropped points from their fixture for the weekend.
Liverpool have also been on a decent record this season. So, this game gets a lot of attention. We have to get a win in this before heading into our mid-week Champions League fixture.
First Half...
This first half was a tough battle for Liverpool. It felt like we stepped into the game with weak legs. The lads were struggling to complete passes and create chances. The smoothness, which is usually in Liverpool's games as they transition from defense to attack, was missing in this half of the game.
We also faced some attacking threats from Wolves. They pressed hard and dribbled like folks on a mission. They had a few chances, but couldn't convert any of those.
It took until the added time of the first half for Liverpool to get a goal. That goal came from Konate. What a goal that was. It sure wasn't a dominant performance for Liverpool in this half of the game.
Second Half...
Liverpool didn't seem ready to double their lead. They messed around for way too long until they gifted a goal to Wolves. That was a very horrible one from Liverpool.
Wolves equalized with the first 15 minutes of the second half.
Liverpool immediately got back on track... Jota won a penal,ty and opportunity was taken by Sal,ah who scored from the penalty spot to regain the lead for Liverpool.
The game ended with Liverpool nailing all 3 points. We didn't have a good game. But, I'm sure everyone would be happy with the 3 points we got.
Now, all eyes will be on our upcoming UCL game.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
