January transfer window is CLOSED - Are you gutted or excited?

Football in Europe is a game of high intensity especially when you are up against the top clubs. No offence meant to the mid or bottom table teams though.

Watch Liverpool and their heavy metal style of play. You will notice that it takes a lot to be able to maintain a good level of consistency without being fatigued throughout the games they get to play in a season.

We enjoy this game of football.

We love to see our favourite teams go on a winning streak and get the maximum points. We also want to make sure that our players are always fit and this is where it is important to utilize each transfer window to bring more fresh legs into the team. It's a good time to double up the players covering each position.

What's up with the transfer window? When is it closing?

If you haven't been informed of any good deal from your club at the time you are reading this, then I'm sorry to break it to you...the transfer window has CLOSED!

It's usually like this. Whenever the transfer window closes, some clubs and fans will be excited while others will be gutted. I'm one of those that is happy with the trades we did this January transfer window.

By we, I mean Liverpool. There was a time when we usually lose our big guns during transfer windows but it was a different story this time around. We didn't lose anyone. Nat Philips was loaned to Bournemouth and I'm rooting for the lad. His game will improve if he gets to play week-in week-out over there.

Aside from retaining our big guns, we were able to add a fresh leg to the team. Luiz Diaz has already claimed the no. 23 shirt and he will be blending with the rest of the team soon. Our second signing was supposed to be an 11th-hour deal for Fabio Carvalho from Fulham, but that didn't work out in the last sec. I hope we get him in the next transfer window.

Man, we did good business in this window and the reaction from the fans on our socials shows that all Liverpool fans are happy about the deals.

Congratulations to all teams that got what they need this transfer window. Doing the business is one thing, getting what you asked for in full package is another. I hope to see Diaz banging in goals and assist.
