GW4: Do you regret not buying Haaland in your FPL team?

We are just 4 games into this footballing season and Chelsea fans are already fuming because of the pathetic display they have been getting from their team.

For the record, there are a lot of teams that seem to be struggling at the beginning of the season and there are a lot of fans that are going bunkers about the measly performance of their respective teams in the just-closed transfer window.

As for Chelsea, they happen to be run by a Businessman who believes in buying as many players as possible. I remember feeling envious of Chelsea whenever they broke the bank to buy the long list of players they have been buying in recent months. Wow! After seeing the performance of these folks so far, I have to say that I'm no longer envious of Chelsea.

Their fans are gutted and they have grounds to complain about the poor performance of their squad. However, who's to be blamed at the moment?

• Does it mean that the players they have are not good enough?

• Is Pochettino getting something wrong with his team management?

I don't have a clue about that but, we won't spend too much time talking about Chelsea. Lol. A lot happened in this gameweek and I will start by highlighting my FPL performance.

Look at that... Haaland gave me a huge scare after scoring that hat trick. I need to find a way to fit that goal poacher into my team because he's doing the business and he always finds ways to make people regret not having him in their team.

Despite not having Haaland in my squad, I still managed to win my Divisional head-to-head fixture for this gameweek, all thanks to the contributory performance of everyone in my squad.

I also managed to crawl up the HiveFPL and HiveNaijaFPL table. However, I can't stop myself from feeling like I could win more points if I get to add Haaland to my squad. It will take a couple of addition and subtraction to make that happen within the next couple of Gameweeks.

• Man City are ready to win the lot. They are relentlessly nailing every team that crosses path with them.

• Questions have to be asked about the competence of Eddie Howe's Newcastle United. Their poor start to the season is getting poorer.

• Liverpool finally got to play for 90 minutes with 11 players. I wonder when we will get our next red card. Haha.

• Arsenal just made a huge statement in that massive comeback against Manchester United. It's as smooth as you like.

• As for Chelsea, "I prefer not to talk".

Now, we all have to wait patiently for the international break to come and go. I'm not the biggest fan of these international breaks. However, I hope Liverpool players get to use this opportunity to rest in preparation for a busy September/October.
