Glazers Out is the word on the street - Will tonight's game be cancelled?
I had to eat my word after the last prediction I gave in the game that was played by Liverpool. It was such a weird game with so many things going wrong including a red card for Darwin Nunez.
We ended up with another DRAW in that game. That made it 2 points gotten through hard labour out of a potential 6 points. I was livid and lost for words after watching that game.
This time around, we are up against a struggling Manchester United who has been very busy in this last segment of the transfer window. They have been adding every player to their watchlist, but you and I know how many they have managed to sign. Haha. Man United fans, I don't mean to take a dig at y'all. Hehe.
I know people are already saying that this will be an easy game for Liverpool, but what if this match gets cancelled?
Due to the way the business side of Manchester United is affecting the overall performance of the club, we have seen a couple of fans who have become salty about the situation of their club. They protest online consistently and they don't hold back in taking a dig at the board whenever Manchester United gives their usual shambolic display on a match day.
#GlazersOut is the word on the street and on a day like this, Manchester United fans decided to move the protest from an online protest to a physical protest which can potentially disrupt the game that will be played today.
I'm genuinely looking forward to this game and I believe that I'm not alone in this so even though Manchester United fans are fighting for their Club, I hope it won't affect the game that will be played tonight.
Gimme your prediction for this game;
I know you will say this is an easy game for Liverpool, but think again. Haha. Try to look at this fixture through the lens of the current Liverpool we are seeing. Not the Liverpool of last year or the Liverpool of two years ago. Look at this current squad and tell me what you think.
For me, I think Liverpool may concede a goal in this game. Haha. May the highest goalscoring team win this one. Hopefully, that will also be liverpool.
Also, it's important to note that this protest is quite serious. In an interview with BBC, when Jurgen Klopp was asked his plans if the games don't get played, his reply was simple and straight to the point... "I think we get the points."
