Football Review... A game of two halves at Anfield.
After the International break, the first game Liverpool played was tough to watch. They struggled to keep their back tight and also struggled to score. We ended up losing 3 points in that game a week ago.
However, today's game was a completely different experience. This is the Liverpool we watched before the international break. They pressed hard, controlled the intensity of the game, and were very clinical in their finish. At least, that was the case in the first half of the game.
The three goals scored by Liverpool in this game was scored in the first half of the game. They were all scored within 11 minutes.
Yeah!
The first goal was scored in the 26th minute by Diaz. He followed it up with a second goal in the 28th minute. Both goals were phenomenal. However, the third goal, which was scored by Nunez in the 37th minute, is the most remarkable. Haha.
The assists for each goal came from Konate, Trent, and Salah. That was an electrifying first half.
Second Half...
Liverpool's attacking performance in the second half wasn't as jaw-dropping as it was in the first half. Liverpool created a lot of chances in this half of the game, but couldn't score.
There's no need to point fingers. However, Salah's decision-making hasn't been what it used to be. He got it wrong in several decisions he made and the frustration was noticeable.
On the defensive line, Bournemouth created a lot of attacking chances. Liverpool, on the other hand, was very composed at the back. Kelleher also did a very good job in the goalkeeping position.
Liverpool already spiced up this day.
Let's enjoy the rest of the weekend.
