Everything Footie... Come on, lads.

It's been a very interesting early hours of this day and I've felt all the emotions I could feel as a fanatic football lover. Wow! Did y'all see the Moisés Caicedo deal? The dude pulled a rough one on us (Liverpudlians) and I'm genuinely unimpressed about the outcome of that deal.

This day has been a rollercoaster of emotions and it just feels like Liverpudlians are getting the short end of the stick cus... What the hell just happened?

Even the gaffer (Jurgen) would have to eat his words after confirming to the press in his Chelsea vs Liverpool pre-match press conference that we've successfully signed Caicedo. Less than an hour after his interview, words came out that Moisés Caicedo has just informed Liverpool that he only wants to join Chelsea.

That's not a good look. Do you know what's weird about this whole turn of events? The fact that this whole saga gave me hope about a more strengthened midfield only for that hope to get dragged through the mud.

Well, it's going to be one heck of a season. Can't wish the young chap any luck on his Chelsea adventure. Haha.

Let's talk FPL (Fantasy Premier League);

I gave FPL a try for the very first time in the previous season of EPL, but things got messed up during the 2022 world cup and I lost the passion for all the weekly strategy and team building and stuff. Haha. Now, I'm ready to give it another shot after procrastinating for a while.

I have only one goal for this season... To actively go through the whole 38 gameweeks of the season. It sure takes a great deal of consistency to go about that and it's not obvious that being consistent will earn my FPL team a fairly decent point.

However, this is the squad I'm starting with and that's my lineup for the first gameweek of the season.

Setting up the team was a really good headache and I know a lot of adjustments would have to be made as the season progresses. I currently don't have any Chelsea or Man U player in the squad and this has nothing to do with sentiments. Haha. I just have to see who cements his spot as the season progresses and subsequently know how to fit the person into my squad.

FPL is already fun as it is, but Hive makes it even more thrilling and more interesting. Check these out;

Look at those... It gets as crazy as you want it to be and it sure wouldn't be bad to enjoy this adventure for 38 weeks.

Yeah! The intensity is already building up and fans are impatiently waiting for the first game of the season to kick-off tonight between Burnley and Manchester City. The banters are already on and the obvious game of the week would surely be the Sunday clash between Chelsea and Liverpool.

A lot is on the line for that game and we are all filled with a surge of anticipation. Enjoy the new season, lads.
