Beer Saturday... Feel the delectable sensation.

Every bit of this Saturday has been punctuated with a series of events which makes this an eventful day and I'm super excited as I'm about to let y'all get snippets about my day and the remarkable things I've done for the most of this day.

You already have your bottle of beer, right? Pour it into a glass cup and take a sip. Haha. It's BeerSaturday, baby.

Let's Go!

My Saturdays by all means are usually eventful especially when Club football is buzzing. You see, I'm a sucker for English Premier League and I'm a big fan of Liverpool FC. I already knew we would be playing a game by 12:30 this Saturday and to be fair, there are a lot more games to watch for the day.

Just to make sure that I won't be missing out on the fun, I spent the first half of the day doing home stuff. You know, the cleanings, laundry, dishwashing and stuff. Immediately it clocked noon, I washed off and bounced to the pub where I usually enjoy the game of football.

As you can already imagine, it's not enough to just sit and watch football. It gives a better feeling when you can have a good drink and eat something sumptuous while enjoying what's happening on screen. It's BeerSaturday, right?

How are these for a good brand of Beer to have by your side while enjoying the beautiful game of football?

The green bottle is Heineken Beer and the other is Legend. Each of these is quite reputable amongst Beer lovers in Nigeria and it's not hard to see why. Just take a sip. You will know the exact reason why Beer is gaining traction.

The game kicked off with full intensity by 12:30. At that time, everyone had already settled down to enjoy the game while also enjoying the stuff on their table. A game between Liverpool and Everton is always filled with intensity. It's a Merseyside derby and it holds a rivalry that's very easy to notice. Haha.

The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw, but Liverpool got themselves in good positions and nailed two clean goals in the second half. Those were the only two goals of the game and they were enough to grant Liverpool the win.

As a Liverpudlian, the game ended exactly how I wanted. Haha. We got 2 goals, got the 3 points, kept a clean sheet and... That's the best bit about this weekend. A good win deserves a good celebration and that's when the fish barbecue came into the picture. Haha.
