Bagong Pilipinas | April 22 2024 | My Actifit Report Card

This afternoon, I went to my usual walking spot: the university grounds near my workplace.
But today was a busy day for most of the people in the university.
The university hosted the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair which went from April 21 to today, April 22, 2024.
It aims to provide vital government services directly to the people.
Accordingly, 412 Million Pesos was given away to the people of Benguet for this service fair.

I honestly didn't know about this and heard about it only today so I decided to check on it while on my usual daily walk.

As I reached the university grounds, I saw banderitas (small banners) along the way.

The event looks like a local town fiesta.
There were a lot of people even when some of the stalls and booths are already dismantling their tents.

The event featured Kadiwa ng Pangulo, Passport on Wheels, Driver’s License registration/ assistance, Legal Services through the Public Attorney's Office and a lot more.

There are also stalls offering locally made and produced products.

I continued my walk around the university and saw most of the stalls already packing up.
It may have been a two-day event but I'm pretty sure it has helped a lot especially those having a hard time accessing the services of the vital government agencies.
As I was about to exit the gate, I saw two young ladies, who are students of the same university happily carrying a box of goods each given by the Department of Social Welfate and Development. Those goods will sure go a long way especially for students who are struggling to budget their allowances.
