Endlich Urlaub / Finally a holiday
Hallo zusammen,
seit dem Wochenende machen wir Urlaub an der Ostsee.
Am Strand ist ein großes Riesenrad aufgebaut, welches Abends sehr schön beleuchtet ist. Aufgrund meiner Höhenangst werde ich jedoch keine Runden darauf drehen ;) Ich schaue es mir lieber von unten an.

Since the weekend we have been on holiday at the Baltic Sea.
There is a big Ferris wheel on the beach, which is beautifully illuminated in the evening. However, due to my fear of heights, I won't be doing any laps on it ;) I prefer to look at it from below.
Das Wetter ist leider etwas wechselhaft. So konnte ich aber nach einem kurzen Schauer diesen schönen Regenbogen über dem Meer entdecken.
Unfortunately, the weather is a bit changeable. So after a short shower I was able to discover this rainbow over the sea.
Strandkörbe gehören zum Nord- oder Ostseeurlaub natürlich auch dazu. Gerade wenn es wie zurzeit etwas windiger ist, ist es sehr angenehm, wenn man es sich im Strandkorb gemütlich machen kann.
Of course, beach chairs are also part of a North Sea or Baltic Sea holiday. Especially when it is a bit windy, as it is at the moment, it is very pleasant to make yourself comfortable in a beach chair.
Gestern haben wir einige Stunden am Strand verbracht. Der Blick auf das Meer lässt uns nach einigen turbulenten und arbeitsreichen Wochen endlich etwas entschläunigen.
Das Wasser ist jedoch recht kalt und lädt noch nicht so richtig zum Baden ein. Ich habe es nur bis zu den Knien hineingeschafft. Unser Sohn war da schon mutiger und ist direkt ganz hineingegangen. Die Ostsee ist auf jeden Fall sehr klar und es sind auch kaum Algen am Ufer. Wir hoffen, dass es in den nächsten Tagen noch etwas wärmer wird, und wir uns doch noch zum Schwimmen etwas weiter hinaus wagen.
Yesterday we spent a few hours on the beach. The view of the sea finally lets us relax a little after a few turbulent and busy weeks.
However, the water is quite cold and not really inviting for a swim yet. I only made it in up to my knees. Our son was more courageous and went straight in.
In any case, the Baltic Sea is very clear and there is hardly any algae on the shore. We hope that it will get a little warmer in the next few days and that we can venture out a little further for a swim.
