We started the session at Largo da Segunda-Feira, a spot in Tijuca that’s popular with skaters from all over. The place always surprises: small but versatile.

We had a solid warm-up and tons of fun. Right from the start, a few flip nose slide attempts showed that the day was going to be packed with action. But since Vlads is always seeking new challenges, he was already ready to switch spots and grab that açaí to recharge his legs.

On the way, we spotted an interesting drop and couldn’t resist — Vlads nailed a nose slide going down into the entrance of an underground garage. After that unexpected session, we finally arrived at the much-anticipated açaí with banana and strawberries... Wow, what a treat!

From there, we headed to one of the most “streetable” spots I’ve seen around here: Teatro Ziembinski. It was the perfect place to hammer out trick after trick — manuals, no complies, long lines... A true urban playground that really blew me away.

The session wrapped up because Vlads had to catch a flight, but the day was perfect! Tons of heavy tricks and the excellent company of Vitor Boelter. To top it off, a pair of dogs showed up at the end of the session, and they seemed to be having just as much fun as we were. They ran, jumped, and followed the tricks, bringing a light and contagious energy to the session’s close. It was impossible not to smile seeing their happiness. I LOVE DOGS!
