Kurt Zouma Cat Incidence; What Is Your Take?

After the appearance of a video that showed how Kurt Zouma maltreated his cats by kicking and slapping them, Many people have reacted to the act with the majority condemning the heinous act. He has been fined £250,000 by his club and his two cats have been seized and sent to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).

There have been more than 110,000 signatures to apply legal actions on the Westham Defender, Kurt Zouma, and Kurt will likely face four years of imprisonment in his home country France because of the act.
In all these things, I am not against the punishment that the Defender is receiving but I am puzzled by the fact that many racist acts have attracted lesser punishments in the past. Kurt Zouma has apologized for his action and has accepted the fine from his club, yet people are still petitioning for further actions to be taken. Many people have been racially abused by players and fans but little was done against it.

Westham players have also raised eyebrows over his salary as the fine revealed that he is the highest-paid player in the club amidst the likes of Declan Rice. I fear Westham's dressing room will be divided because of this revelation. We have seen how similar salary difference has caused issues in clubs like Manchester United.

My prayer is with the young man and I wish him fair punishment during his trial in France.
