If You Snoozed, You Missed!!! 

Indeed, I snoozed and I guess I didn't miss just as the title suggested, probably because I am a Chelsea fan ( you are free to banter down the comment box 😭). I had plans to stay up and watch the matches that happened in the early hours of today but my body was too weak to keep up. Outside the Florida Cup between Arsenal and Chelsea, two other big games happened, Bayern Munich VS Manchester City and Real Madrid VS Barcelona. Below are the results from the games.

From the above scoreline, you can see that the two other Matches outside the one between Chelsea and Arsenal were quite interesting judging by the scoreline. Chelsea, my sweet club, was bullied by Arteta's men. When I saw the scoreline, at first, I thought my internet connection was misbehaving or perhaps that Chelsea had red cards but Youtube video reviews of the match showed me otherwise. One thing was obvious, Chelsea's defense wasn't at its best. They were too deep in the match which exposed them. Mendy tried in the match and could have done better if the defense were at its best. Outside Emerson, the other three backs were good options and I wonder why they were this porous, perhaps it might be one of those bad days but Chelsea is the name and blue is the color, We go again.

Congratulations to Arsenal and I will see you guys again when the league starts. The way I am seeing the upcoming premier league season, any team that slips will have a big fight to get back to action.
