Este fue el encuentro más atractivo y esperado en estas semifinales, ya que se enfrentaban el líder la premier league y el líder de La liga Santander, se esperaba un partido apasionante con mucha llegada de los dos equipos, porque las dos defensas llegaban tocadas para este juego, y con lo vertical del futbol inglés y lo letal del Madrid se esperaba muchos goles.
El equipo de Pep Guardiola salió con un claro 4-3-3 como le gusta jugar, sorprendía en su alineación la entrada de Stones, ya que venía algo tocado y estaba en duda su inclusión en el juego, pero al parecer se recuperó y logro entrar desde el inicio, el equipo de Ancelotti también salió con un claro 4-3-3 y aquí también sorprendía la entrada Alaba que estaba día a día con el club, pero también logro recuperarse y también salió de titular.

Este partido también casualmente entre un equipo inglés y un español, se ve a simple vista que es el más disparejo de los dos duelos de semifinales de la Champions, en un lado está el Liverpool segundo en la premier league a solamente un punto del Manchester City y para mí el equipo más en forma actualmente en Europa y por el otro un equipo que en la liga Santander marcha de séptimo fuera de la Europa league hasta los momentos, aunque hay que recordar que este equipo sorprendió a todos a eliminar al Bayer Munich, aunque no creo que tenga esa suerte dos veces en la misma campaña.
Liverpool-Villarreal

Un verdadero balde de agua fría para Villarreal que no resistió más el asedio rival, pero el Liverpool no se quedó allí olio sangre y quiso dejar el encuentro finiquitado y siguió atacando le anularon un gol en el 64 por fuera de juego, y a pesar de La ventaja de dos goles Unai emery no movió su estrategia y mantuvo a su equipo atrás, mientras que el Liverpool, aunque siguió atacando, pero el Liverpool bajó un poco las revoluciones con las salidas de Mané, Henderson y Trent Alexander-Arnold, los ataques seguían, pero no eran tan peligrosos como los minutos inicales del complemento y así termina el partido con un Liverpool que mereció más, pero salió con una buena victoria en anfield.
Hay que destacar que a pesar de la derrota la defensa del Villarreal Pau Lopez y Rau albiol así como su portero Rulli tuvieron un parido destacado, sobre todo Albiol achicando muy bien los espacios, pero la estrella de la noche fue Thiago Alcántara sus pases y su clarividencia al esparcir juego a sus compañeros así como sus pases al hueco al ataque lo convirtieron en el jugador del partido. El Liverpool lo tiene todo para pasar a la final y el Villarreal le tocará hacer el milagro si quiere estar en su primera final de una Champions, espero les haya gustado mi reporte hasta una próxima oportunidad.
