There are very interesting findings with the search for life on Mars and also with the colonization of Mars in the future, of course, because one thing is linked to the other, what would happen if we really found life on Mars, because we can find life on Mars of the past but now Mars is dead, that is, life would have arisen in the past but it became extinct.

And we can also find life present on Mars because you know there is the doubt, here on Earth there are many living beings that live underground and that have been sheltered under the ground for many millions of years, therefore, on Mars life did emerge. life in some of those seas, lakes or rivers, that life could also have taken refuge in aquifers or in underground areas where liquid water still exists on Mars, that is the big doubt we currently have.

The plan Elon Musk has in his head is that Mars is a kind of Plan B in case on Earth we screw up with some technology or we get out of hand with nuclear weapons or we get into a terrible war and/or fungus or an infection or something catastrophic that ends human life on Earth, Mars could be our plan B.
