In Australia they have discovered something unexpected and that is that sheep that are grazed between solar panels give better quality wool. They studied it in a solar park in Wellington, a 320 hectare park that is in the middle of agricultural land, that is, it is a park where the panels beneath them provide grass and the sheep can graze.


The secret was precisely that the solar panels provided shade and you could alternate between the fresh grass that was in the shade and the dry grass and also the hay that was given to the sheep, so this diversity created that the sheep were better fed. and therefore produced better wool, a curious benefit of solar panels.
