Scientific curiosity; Torrential rains.




The floods that are occurring in various parts of the world are not a divine punishment, nor a conspiracy, this is Mother Nature, it is a natural event that we have to learn from because torrential rains and floods have always occurred everywhere since the times of the Romans and yes, this climate change thing can exacerbate this effect of floods but, with climate change or without climate change, there will be floods and torrential rains.


Better said, there will always be torrential rains, that is part of nature,
What should not happen from the point of view of us humans is flooding because we have the tools to avoid them or at least minimize them. It is tremendous. Many things should also be avoided, such as building on old boulevards and streams.


You can minimize the actions of nature, we also do a lot of stupid things, one of the characteristics of rivers at least always catches my attention because the rains are more regular where I live and the rivers usually have the same flow, but on some occasions There are some small streams, but with a gigantic Dry River bed that is because from time to time a very important, tremendous flow of water comes down there and that is something natural and that can at least be minimized, at least not build in those channels.
