Trey Lance played in Division 1 FCS, not D2 or D3... and guess what? So did Jimmy G and lots of other successful NFL players! Trey was so amazing in college that he was the first freshman to ever win the FCS equivalent of the Heisman (Walter Payton Award). I actually watched most of his college games and he has huge potential.
I'm on the side of the fence where i think Trey needs time to develop. Sucks that he got hurt, but Jimmy ain't the answer in San Fran...Even though everyone wants him there now lol
