Giving a Helping Hand. Generosity.

Today, I saw a post from @jozef230 where Lukasz is asking us Hivers for some help. Please read the post Here

One thing I love about this Hive community is that this is a place where we all support and help each other in the best way we can. And the beautiful thing is that you don't even have to give much, but anything helps.

I know that it is not very easy to ask people for help, especially people we might not even know, but I find a lot of generosity here in this community and that is one thing that makes Hive so special.

So today, I am sharing this post from @jozef230, where we can all help Lukasz with any HBD. If 100 people would donate 5 HBD which would equal to 500 HBD, which is the amount needed for Lukasz to be able to help his Boxing Family by providing the anti-slip mat, which the club is in need of, in order to keep them safe from slipping and really hurting themselves.

The owner of the club is going through a hard time trying to run the club during this challenging time and is not able to come up with this cost.

I think that this is a great opportunity to show what Hive community is all about when we give a helping hand to families in need or business owners trying to keep their businesses open etc.

I know that this is not an emergency situation but I know what a boxing club for example is a place that is not just for fighting or getting in shape, but a place where you also can call it your home or family. A place that really changes people's lives and motivates you. A place where you can leave your worry and stress behind.

I know, because my husband and I had a boxing/kickboxing club many, many years ago and we saw how it changed adults/children and what it meant to them. We were a family and when we closed it (we moved) some of them were really, really sad even devastated which made us feel so bad to leave.

Now we have tried to open the boxing/kickboxing club again for years now, but it is almost impossible with the cost of rent to get even a beat-up, old place, so I know how hard it is to get any kind of equipment or safety mats to run a business like this.

So, if you can help in any way, I know @jozef230 and the owner of the club will be forever grateful and you will have a great feeling of contributing to making someone's life better, which is the best feeling and really, that is what life is all about.
