My Actifit Report Card: January 15 2025 : Wednesday Walk
Hello Amigos
Welcome Welcome to my Actifit Report for Wednesday, 15th January 2025, and also my entry to #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
Lately, I have come to appreciate Wednesday more than before because of the things I get to achieve on this day.
Well, it's a full day without light.
I sha have to get used to the life I thought i dropped.
Power bank to the rescue, I charged my phone with it, quickly did a few online activities before doing some house chores.
I wanted this twist for the day, a swift change in my daily routine.
Then, it's walk o clock ⏰️
The first walk started with walking down to the market.
It kinda looks a bit scanty, I overheard people saying that people travelled.
That it was the best period to travel to do some planting, too, since the planting season had just started for the year.
Here, they tend to plant early, so they would be able to harvest something before the raining season and flooding.
What I usually buy isn't that much, and I am sure to get what I need before heading home.
I just had to walk around extra, looking around and taking random photos.
When I was walking down to the main market, I saw a woman selling fried groundnut.
Fried groundnut was on my to buy list, but I was looking for a particular seller to buy from because of the terrible experience I had.
I once bought a cup of groundnut, which was filtered and ready to eat, then when I got home and carried a handful to enjoy, I saw a big stone mixed with the groundnuts.
I missed separating another one, thereby causing me to eat it together with groundnut.
And it wasn't pleasant.
After looking around for something, I couldn't find the seller I wanted to buy from.
Then I saw the same woman again looking so tired and disturbed.
Nobody was buying from her, I felt pity for her and decided to patronise her since I couldn't find my customer.
I asked her how much she sells a cup, I usually buy 500 naira, and she told me 700 naira.
I was like, "No mama, this one is 500 naira oo," she said, "That's the new price."
I asked myself since when now, I know the price of things adds up almost every day, but not this one, nah
I just bought it a few days ago.
I did the technique of slowly walking away, hoping she would call me back to buy, but she didn't.
I went to the next person and bought it for 500 naira.
Ahhh
Thank God I asked first oo without doing it's the usual nah, I might have ended up arguing with her for long oo
Mama, I no too get oo, na patronise I won patronise oo
But you self pity me nah as I pity you won come buy from you nah
This was what I couldn't help but think as I was walking back home.
Now I see why she didn't have customers.
Why is her own price different?
When she knows it is a large market with lots of sellers and buyers.
Everybody is itching, don't feel your own is the worst.
I came back prepared soup and went out for the second task for the day.
I needed to pick up an envelope containing documents from someone.
God blessed me with a friend who, through him, I was able to get this document that has been prolonged for months now.
I didn't know the location I was to meet the person, but I had a fair knowledge of the place through search.
I got there safely and collected the envelope.
Then, I had to walk to a junction before I could get a tricycle heading back home.
The place is very far from where I stay, I took two stops before getting to the place.
I was so grateful that something like this brought me to this side of the state.
I only heard of the place but haven't been there before.
Initially, I didn't even know the direction to the place.
So, it's a plus of cool discovery, but going back was stressful.
I got home exhausted, did other random activities.
Finished up with a few things I left before going out.
Ding dong, it's night already......
All thanks to God for a successful and productive day 🙏 🙌
Thank you very much for stopping by my blog 😘 💓
Wishing you a fabulous Thursday 😊

l think her price is different as a result of where she buys her groundnut from, so she can't afford to sell, when she knows lt will not give her profit, good morning.
Hmmm
Okay.
She should change her pattern oo
Because the difference of 200 naira isn't a joke in this tpain regime oo
😁😁 smile... l think lf a lot of people complains that her groundnut price is too costly, she will remove the 200 naira difference's.
I hope she sells though.
She will. Have a great day @jmis101
