My Actifit Report Card: July 17 2023 : I Am Alive Challenge

It's going to be a beautiful day.

This is my I am alive challenge and my actifit report for Tuesday 18th July 2023.

I celebrate being alive today, the day is bright and beautiful.
Said my prayers, started and finished some house chores.

It was market o'clock, I used to love going to market but not now.
Because the market is now bad due to rain.
The stores broken, every roof licking, no place to sit to calculate your movement.
You always more while calculating, and you will have to price and price without any difference.

Another thing is the market is now scattered, before they used to stay according to what they sell.
Now you will have to look for what you want to buy anywhere.

I noticed the market wasn't so full as usual.
The fuel increment is causing so much hardship.

I got one paint of rice here for 3600naira, the paint is the yellow container in the picture above.
It's used for measurement.
Then half paint of beans for 1000naira.
One medium size Tin tomatoes cost 350naira, not the tall one but the one on top of a yellow stuff(vegetable oil)

This is dried tomatoes, currently it's everywhere in the market while fresh tomatoes are not available.

Melon seeds now are for the rich, a cup cost 500naira, something that was 300naira as of March.
Good thing here is they grind it free and they have different measuring cups, at least one you can afford but in small quantity.

They also sell various soups thickeners.

A portion of this cost 200naira, it's called garden egg.
It can be used to make stew sauce or eaten with groundnut as snack.

I couldn't snap lots of things I bought, because I was guiding my phone to avoid stories that touch.

I could have been stuck in the market because the transport fare I paid while coming changed, because they increased fuel price again from 517naira to 640naira.

I paid 250naira for a drop while going, then coming back it was 400naira.
So glad I didn't finish the money in the market to purchase food stuffs.
I had 500naira left, glad I didn't split it thinking I will still pay 250naira.

The increment just happened in the middle of the day both fuel and transport fare.
I am sure it will leave many people stranded.

God have mercy.

My day ended with doing random things, especially completing some online activities.
