My Actifit Report Card: April 22 2023 : I Am Alive Challenge

Hello everyone.

It's another beautiful day.

Welcome to my actifit report for Saturday 22nd April 2023.

Woke up early, did few hours chores.

Went to the large farm around 7:30am to harvest cassava.

It was a good harvest, though some of the cassava tubers was tiny in size.
And some decayed.


Peeled, washed and grinded it.

Then, after that I had a small rest before going to the new farm to get veggies.

There are lots of weeds here, but we are gradually weeding it.

This upcoming week is going to be a busy one for me in the farm.
Because I have to join hands to make sure that a large portion of the land is free from much weeds.

Got the waterleaf I needed before heading home.

That's it for the day.
Came back exhausted, ate dinner and slept off.

I don't know much about cassava to be honest shame some of it was spoiled but that's the way it goes when growing.

Alright dear.
It involves a lot of processing, mainly into flour then we sip it or make it into swallow for our soup.

Sometimes you can just boil the cassava tubers, cut it into smaller pieces.
Add water to it, allow for at least for some hours.
Wash it off i.e washing out cyanide before enjoying it with either dry groundnut or coconut.

The research will tell you more, it's simple but somehow long process maybe because I am used to it.
