Walk Effective - My Actifit Report Card: February 1 2025
Walk Effective
Saturday, February 1, 2025
</br
Not the way I would want to begin a month when it comes to my health and fitness journey but the good news is that on Monday it’s back to the Orangetheory Fitness routine and the next running event for Tiffany and me is just a couple a weeks away.
Today’s activity was simply based on shopping for groceries and other necessities, taking the car in for some basic needs and prepping for a family dinner outing this evening.
Tiffany and I also got ahead of the game and picked two bags of chicken wings for next Super Bowl Sunday.
I intend to marinate and cook them in the healthiest way possible but still crispy and delicious.
Tomorrow I’m getting new tires and Tiffany and I will be doing a nice leisurely Sunday Funday Activity Walk at Disney.
We’ll drive over and park, take their busses over to one of their handful of resort areas. I believe Tiffa wants ti do the one with boardwalk. I don’t recollect what resort is there but I do remember the walk.
Also on Monday morning I have a follow up appointment with the podiatrist as well. The progress is definitely there, but let’s see when I workout on Monday before the appointment to get a better sense how far is that progress.
I took two weeks off and I don’t intend to take anymore time off outside of our scheduled rest days unless something else comes up that takes me out for a while. More impactful Injuries come a lot more frequent these days.
Time constraints will limit my Actifity breakdown but won’t stop the Actifit generation and posting.

It's not easy to do something crispy and healthy, make on your own rather than buy frozen is better for sure
The template I’ll be working off of:
Baked Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the wings with your favorite spices. A simple mix of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika works great.
Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack to allow air circulation.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.
Healthier Sauces
Buffalo Sauce: Mix hot sauce with a small amount of melted butter or olive oil.
Honey Mustard: Combine honey, Dijon mustard, and a splash of apple cider vinegar.
Garlic Parmesan: Toss wings in a mixture of minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and a bit of olive oil.
Tips for Extra Crispiness
Pat the wings dry with paper towels before seasoning to remove excess moisture.
Use baking powder (not baking soda) in your seasoning mix to help the skin crisp up.
ohh i get you now! you don't do them fried on oil! i like this style, i do this for the fish with bread powder on it as addition
Whatever we could do stay healthy but enjoy food.
indeed...modern and processed food is the worst thing ever
