Inter-District Rafting Championship Part 3 (championship begins)

The team is ready it's time to compete

Today is the most awaited day, the inter-district rafting championship in Aceh province.

This event is deliberately made based on the federation's activity calendar, up to the national level championship.

They were given instructions before leaving for the race location, I think there will be trouble if they are not cheered up in the match later, stage fright can be a cause of trouble, that means I will shout the loudest for this matter, and I have prepared a special place to cheer them on.

Currently they are being given directions by the Regent, it looks like they are listening very seriously. as assistance the regent provided some support for easy access to the event location and pocket money to support their spirits.

and we were outside watching them strategizing for the race later, until now I'm still pessimistic they will win the championship, because for me it's impossible.

And we all headed to the location, until there it was seen that the enthusiastic audience had packed the event location, from the bridge they could see the match clearly. from various walks of life everyone gathered in this place to support the champion.

the participants gather on the river side to see the opponents who are competing and determine which opponent is the most formidable.

the judges were ready in their respective positions, in the hot sun they were on duty to achieve the success of the event.

It can be seen that many teams of judges will oversee the match by the river, they carry a communication device to facilitate communication between judges, this tool also of course functions as information if a player commits a violation during the match by marking the participant's jersey number it's easy to confirm.

I tried to cheer them up before the game with a group photo, with a few words of motivation as a reminder that they are warriors who have worked hard to get here.

Then pay attention to the competing opponents to measure the strength of the participants who will become opponents.

This is a Head to Head picture, of the participants who are competing around the obstacles to find perfect points, there are Men's and Women's classes that will be competed, all competition disciplines refer to the strength and speed of the oars.

even though the body of the river looks very narrow for 2 boats to pass at once, and also the judges have to be careful with the match, so that the players' fraudulent actions can be monitored if any.

In this corner where I provide enthusiastic support for the players we coach, I don't follow the flow of the match because there are many old friends who attended this event.

They come here too to cheer for their regional contingents but we stuck in this place relaxing and nostalgic.

Mr. Artup is preparing stones by the river to be stacked, it has always been his hobby.

We haven't seen each other for a long time, only met when there were activities at the river.

Looks like our team won some games but it's the highest points that will win the championship in this race. As beginners they were pretty good, and I didn't think they could beat some athletes from other regions.

The rescue team looks relaxed while enjoying the match, the name of the activity location is Lukup Rhinoceros, Central Aceh, Aceh Province, this location is a place for family rafting, you can come here to enjoy the rides provided, camping and playing in the water.

And at night the athletes returned to the athletes' mess while we remained in the camp area to enjoy a beautiful night.

In my opinion, this place is so calm, let alone gathering with friends with the same hobby here.

The next day the announcement of who was the winner started, I didn't have a photo of the victory even though it was a happy moment, I was too busy so I didn't have the chance to take a picture of them holding the medals.

As information for the victories of the athletes we trained, male athletes won 4 silver medals and female athletes also received 4 silver medals, a pride for their success in winning, even though they were all beginners.
