Hello everyone, fans of good stories, I hope you are doing great, this time I want to share with all of you, a new review, this time I want to talk about the movie Creed III, my head is exploding with ideas and emotions, as you know I love boxing movies, and each and every Creed movie, is like going back to those times... but, let's see, this time was different, is the first in 47 years without Stallone, and it's noticeable, eh, it feels that he is not there, I quickly thought: 'Will it work without the great Rocky? ' But in the end, Creed did what it could to find its own way, without forgetting what Stallone built, but with a fresher, bolder vibe... the heart of the movie is in the reunion of Adonis with his childhood friend, Damian Anderson, played by Jonathan Majors, from the moment these two cross paths on screen, you feel the tension, the heavy vibe of a past that haunts them.

Watching Adonis against his old friend who comes back for revenge, it's like watching an internal fight between what we were and what we are now, that mix of nostalgia and anger, it hit me hard, it feels super personal.... it made me think about my own internal battles, how sometimes we have to face the things we did before in order to move on... but what blew my mind the most about Creed III is that, unlike other boxing movies where we see the main character going up, here they really get into the topic of facing mistakes and ghosts from the past... Adonis doesn't just fight in the ring, no, he also fights the consequences of his own decisions... that double fight, that internal struggle, feels so human, so real. Who hasn't had to look into the past and face their own demons? That question keeps you hanging around the whole movie, and in every punch, in every word, you can see that there is a much deeper story than just punches.

Hola a todos, fanáticos de las buenas historias, espero que estén súper bien, en esta ocasión quiero compartir on todos ustedes, una nueva reseña, esta vez les quiero hablar de la película Creed III, tengo la cabeza explotada de ideas y emociones, como sabrán a mí me encantan las pelis de boxeo, y cada y veras películas de Creed, es como volver a esos tiempos.. pero, a ver, esta vez fue diferente, es la primera en 47 años sin Stallone, y se nota, eh, se siente que no está, rápidamente pensé: '¿Funcionará sin el gran Rocky?' Pero al final, Creed hizo lo que pudo para buscar su propio camino, sin olvidarse de lo que Stallone construyó, pero con una onda más fresca, más atrevida.. el corazón de la peli está en el reencuentro de Adonis con su amigo de la infancia, Damian Anderson, interpretado por Jonathan Majors, desde que se cruzan estos dos en pantalla, se siente la tensión, la onda pesada de un pasado que los persigue.

Ver a Adonis contra su viejo amigo que vuelve por venganza, es como ver una pelea interna entre lo que fuimos y lo que somos ahora, esa mezcla de nostalgia y bronca, me pegó fuerte, se siente super personal.. me puso a pensar en mis propias batallas internas, en cómo a veces tenemos que enfrentar las cosas que hicimos antes para poder seguir adelante.. pero lo que más me voló la cabeza de Creed III es que, a diferencia de otras pelis de boxeo donde vemos al prota subir, acá se meten de lleno en el tema de enfrentar errores y fantasmas del pasado.. Adonis no solo pelea en el ring, no, también lucha contra las consecuencias de sus propias decisiones.. esa doble pelea, esa lucha interna, se siente tan humana, tan real. ¿Quién no ha tenido que mirar al pasado y enfrentar sus propios demonios? Esa pregunta te queda dando vueltas toda la peli, y en cada golpe, en cada palabra, se nota que hay una historia mucho más profunda que solo golpes.

Speaking of fighting, we see Michael B. Jordan in his directorial debut! Seeing him behind the scenes was like seeing something different... the guy broke new ground, especially in the fight scenes, which have a super innovative style, almost experimental, crazy stuff! Imagine seeing a fight that isn't just a punch, but a true work of visual art, where every angle, every movement and even winks to anime, yes, to anime, come together to give you a unique experience, that blows your mind... those scenes left me glued to my seat, and although I know that some may think this is risky, for me it was like a breath of fresh air that gave new energy to the saga... But, let's see, not everything was perfect, huh? Some quieter scenes, those where the characters are walking around or talking quietly, fall a little bit into a dramatic tone, half soap opera... it's like, wanting to balance the epic with the sentimental, the movie fell short in some parts, letting the thing get a little boring at times where a little subtlety would have been better, plus, the end, the third act, feels a little rushed, like they put turbo and lowered a little the emotional impact that they had been building carefully.

And, let's see, Damian Anderson's character, although Jonathan Majors is amazing, I feel he lacked a bit of development, like they didn't squeeze him enough, and that, for me, takes away from the climax we were all waiting for... but there were also things that left me with my mouth open, like the photography, the way they filmed everything, with wide shots, spectacular light and a detail in every corner of the ring that feels almost real, it's just awesome. Each shot is designed to get you right into the groove, to make you feel the force of each blow, the tension in the air, and even the smallest detail, the music plays a great role: the soundtrack vibrates to the rhythm of the images, reinforcing both the rawness of the fights and the most intimate moments of Adonis... that mix of image and sound elevates the experience to another level.

Hablando de pelea, vemos a Michael B. Jordan en su debut como director! Verlo detrás de cámaras fue como ver algo distinto.. el tipo rompió esquemas, sobre todo en las escenas de pelea, que tienen un estilo súper innovador, casi experimental, ¡una cosa loca! Imagínense ver una pelea que no es solo golpe va, golpe viene, sino una verdadera obra de arte visual, donde cada ángulo, cada movimiento y hasta guiños al anime, sí, al anime, se juntan para darte una experiencia única, que te vuela la cabeza.. a mí esas escenas me dejaron pegado al asiento, y aunque sé que a algunos les puede parecer arriesgado este asunto, para mí fue como un respiro de aire fresco que le dio nueva energía a la saga.. Pero, a ver, no todo fue perfecto, ¿ah? Algunas escenas más tranquilas, esas donde los personajes están caminando por ahí o hablando tranquilos, se caen un poquito en un tono medio dramático, medio telenovela.. es como que, queriendo equilibrar lo épico con lo sentimental, la peli se quedó corta en algunas partes, dejando que la cosa se ponga medio aburrida en momentos donde un poco de sutileza hubiera quedado mejor, además, el final, el tercer acto, se siente un poco apurado, como que le metieron turbo y le bajaron un poco al impacto emocional que venían construyendo con cuidado.

Y, a ver, el personaje de Damian Anderson, aunque Jonathan Majors lo hace increíble, siento que le faltó un poco de desarrollo, como que no lo exprimieron lo suficiente, y eso, para mí, le quita fuerza al clímax que todos estábamos esperando.. pero también hubo cosas que me dejaron con la boca abierta, como la fotografía, la forma en que filmaron todo, con planos amplios, una luz espectacular y un detalle en cada rincón del ring que se siente casi real, es simplemente impresionante. Cada toma está pensada para meterte de lleno en la onda, para que sientas la fuerza de cada golpe, la tensión en el aire, y hasta el mínimo detalle, la música juega un gran papel: la banda sonora vibra al ritmo de las imágenes, reforzando tanto la crudeza de las peleas como los momentos más íntimos de Adonis.. esa mezcla de imagen y sonido eleva la experiencia a otro nivel.

And another thing that hooked me a lot was to see how they explored Adonis' family life, here we see Adonis in his more personal side: as a husband, as a dad, dealing with everything that involves taking care of his wife and daughter... these family scenes give a more human touch to the brutality of the ring, they remind us that behind every champion there is a normal person, with his feelings, his fears and, above all, a heart that seeks to redeem himself. It's interesting to think how this part of the story could open the door to Creed 4, where we see Adonis' daughter getting into the boxing world... that idea, full of possibilities, has me super excited for what may come in the future, and now, comparing Creed III with the previous movies, there I enter a dilemma... on the one hand, the previous movies, with Stallone there, had an emotional charge and a nostalgia that is difficult to match.

Many fans, and I include myself a little bit, felt that those first movies had 'something' special, a direct connection with the essence of Rocky that sometimes gets a little lost in this new wave, but, on the other hand, the fresh vibe and the innovative approach of Michael B. Jordan open new doors and show us that the saga has much more to give. It's like comparing an old classic with a renewed and daring version: each one has its own magic, and which one you like more will depend on your mood and what you are looking for in a movie at that moment.

Y otra cosa que me enganchó un montón fue ver cómo exploraron la vida familiar de Adonis, aquí vemos a Adonis en su lado más personal: como esposo, como papá, lidiando con todo lo que implica cuidar a su esposa y a su hija.. estas escenas de familia le dan un toque más humano a la brutalidad del ring, nos recuerdan que detrás de cada campeón hay una persona normal, con sus sentimientos, sus miedos y, sobre todo, un corazón que busca redimirse. Es interesante pensar cómo esta parte de la historia podría abrir la puerta a Creed 4, donde veamos a la hija de Adonis metiéndose en el mundo del boxeo.. esa idea, llena de posibilidades, me tiene súper emocionado por lo que pueda venir en el futuro, y ahora, comparando Creed III con las pelis anteriores, ahí sí que entro en un dilema.. por un lado, las pelis anteriores, con Stallone ahí, tenían una carga emocional y una nostalgia que es difícil de igualar.

Muchos fans, y me incluyo un poco, sentimos que esas primeras pelis tenían 'algo' especial, una conexión directa con la esencia de Rocky que a veces se pierde un poco en esta nueva onda, pero, por otro lado, la onda fresca y el enfoque innovador de Michael B. Jordan abren nuevas puertas y nos muestran que la saga tiene mucho más para dar. Es como comparar un clásico de siempre con una versión renovada y atrevida: cada una tiene su magia, y cuál te guste más va a depender de tu estado de ánimo y de lo que busques en una peli en ese momento.

To be honest, even though it's not perfect, I finished watching it with a super positive vibe, Creed III is a movie that dares to take a chance, to change things without forgetting where it comes from, yes, obviously you feel that Stallone is not there, but just because of that, other characters and other stories have a chance to shine. I left with a mixture of satisfaction and desire for more: satisfied for seeing a movie that is not more of the same and wanting to see what else they invent for the saga... every hit, every look, every dialogue, made me feel I was watching something really special..

If I had to give it a grade, I give it an 8/10, that grade is for how visually amazing the movie is, for how brave the direction was and for the emotion that you feel in every scene, although yes, some parts feel a bit fast or not so worked. . the combination of emotion and action, family drama and epic fights, creates a movie experience that, although it is not perfect, it is not just a boxing movie, it is a story about forgiveness, redemption and the internal fight that we all have at some point in life. Siendo sincero, a pesar de que no es perfecta, termine de verla con una vibra súper positiva, Creed III es una peli que se anima a jugársela, a cambiar las cosas sin olvidarse de dónde viene, sí, obvio que se siente que no está Stallone, pero justo por eso, otros personajes y otras historias tienen chance de brillar. Me fui con una mezcla de satisfacción y ganas de más: satisfecho por ver una peli que no es más de lo mismo y con ganas de ver qué más se inventan para la saga.. cada golpe, cada mirada, cada diálogo, me hicieron sentir que estaba viendo algo realmente especial..

Si tuviera que ponerle nota, le doy un 8/10, esa nota es por lo visualmente increíble que es la peli, por lo valiente que fue la dirección y por la emoción que se siente en cada escena, aunque sí, algunas partes se sienten un toque rápido o no tan trabajadas.. la combinación de emoción y acción, de drama familiar y peleas épicas, crea una experiencia de cine que, aunque no es perfecta, te queda marcada, no es solo una peli de boxeo, es una historia sobre perdonar, redimirse y la pelea interna que todos tenemos en algún momento de la vida. Nos invita a ver más allá de los golpes y entender que, a veces, la pelea más difícil es la que tenemos con nosotros mismos...
