Tsitsipas outlasts Fritz to reach quarter-finals

World No 4 Stefanos Tsitsipas has just advanced into the quarter-finals of the Australian Open after seeing off Taylor Fritz off America in a very entertaining contest.

The game which lasted about five sets saw the 23 year old talented Greek tennis player come from behind twice to emerge victorious 4-6 6-4 4-6 6-3 6-4.

The win on the night made it the third time Tsitsipas has made it this far in the Australian open tournament.

The Greek forth seed will be taking on Jannik Sinner of Italy in the last eight and looking forward to make progress in his quest to land his major title in his career.
