Madrid Open: Ashleigh Barty to take on Aryna Sabalenka in final

World No 1 Ashleigh Barty just advanced into the final of the Madrid Open after defeating Spaniard Paula Badosa.

The game which last two sets saw Australian win 6-4 6-3 over Badosa and in the process recorded her 16 consecutive victory on red clay.

Barty will be facing 5th seed Aryna Sabalenka in the Madrid Final after the Belarusian saw off Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-2 6-3 yesterday.

The final which is scheduled to take place on Saturday will see both players play a sort of rematch of the Stuttgart final in which Barty win.
