Ryan Christenson attends Oakland bench coach and Pittsburgh interview

Clint Hurdle has been a new candidate for the Pittsburgh Pirates, who are looking for a new manager after the hard.

San Francisco Chronicle, the leading San Francisco media, said the Pirates will be interviewing Ryan Christenson for coach.

Christenson played 452 games in six seasons as an outfielder in the big leagues during his active career. He made his debut in Oakland in 1998 and has since gone through the Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers and Texas Rangers.

Christenson oakland bench coach attended Pittsburgh interview. After the MLB retirement, he walked the minor league leaders at Athletics. He was recognized for his leadership by leading the Double A Texas League. He directed Matt Chapman and Matt Olson, who grew up as the main players of the team.

Before the 2018 season, he was promoted to a major league bench coach and contributed to the team's postseason for two consecutive years.

Oakland was previously challenged by Mark Kotsay, a quality management coach, who was challenged as manager of the San Francisco Giants. The same day, Pittsburgh's leading media, the Pittsburgh Post-Gadget, introduced Kotsay as a Pittsburgh candidate.

Pittsburgh is also being weighed up as a candidate for former club manager Jeff Banister and Texas derek Shelton Minnesota Twins hitting coach.
