Back to Actifit: September 14 2024

Okay, it has been a very long time since I wrote an Actifit post. I was on a roll for a very long time, but when I broke my foot in October of 2022, that pretty much ended my very long streak.

As I explained in my last post (eek — July!) a lot of other crazy stuff has happened too, including publishing a book. (See my signature.)

Anyway! I’m on a lovely writing retreat this weekend at a resort in northern Minnesota called Jack Pines. After the events of the day today, I took a walk out on the trails. It was quite nice, although I did get a little bit chomped by mosquitoes! The fall weather has not quite kicked into gear.

And here’s a picture of me reading my story from the anthology published by the writing organization that hosted the writing retreat. (My story took the second place prize!)
