Sea World San Diego - Actifit: March 16 2022
There’s nothing like a theme park for getting a lot of steps without thinking about it. You go here, you go there to see this and do that… then you want to find food… then a restroom… next thing you know, you have been walking for hours!
We had a great day at Sea World. In all my my trips to this city, I have never been to Sea World!
To be fair, given an option to walk on the beach or inside a theme park, I will opt for beach any day. But I had a great at Sea World.
One thing I was amazed by is their conservation work. To date, Sea World San Diego has rescued nearly 40,000 animals. Some of the dolphins in the dolphin exhibit were rescued as babies and could not be rehabilitated. So now they are fed, played with and trained by caring animal trainers all day who see to their well-being.
I loved the dolphin show. It was amazing and to see what these creatures are capable off.
We also saw sea lions, seals, otters, rays and sharks. I’m sure I’m forgetting something!
Oh yes — flamingoes!
We also went on some rides, like the manta.
And this frightening looking thing, which no one would go on but me. It’s truly a thrill seeker’s ride. You climb straight up, fall straight down, and on the horizontal parts you’re twisting around riding and riding upside down. It’s terrifying! But really fun.
And finally, we did a water ride. And that was a great one for the end of the day because we got soaked! So we were happy to head to the car after that to go home to dry clothes!
Thank you for visiting!

beautiful place, how much is the entrance ticket to that location
Around $70. But I think my husband found discount passes.
Alright, that's a high price for me, but it's okay to be happy

I lived in San Antonio and there is a Sea World there! Once a year at Christmas, they would give special discounts to the locals for an annual pass! It was pretty amazing and less than an undiscounted day pass. They are a pretty amazing company all the way around.
I would have ridden with you! I love it, but, I scream like a little girl all the way! :)
The shows are fun and the park is amazing. I love it and I am so glad to see you do too!
I love those crazy rides! As long as they don't spin, I'm fine. I generally scream too, but the really tall roller coaster was so stupefying and so insanely fast that not a peep came out of me! Thanks for coming by, @dswigle!
It looks it!!! I think I would still give it a go with you. :)
The magnificent creatures of the equally magnificent ocean @jayna! What a wonderful experience. As far as the joy ride - gulp - goes - I would rather swim with a killer whale
Yeah, a lot of people feel that way, which is why I ended up riding it on my own! Thanks for visiting, @buckaroobaby!
