Sublime and Beautiful Sunday - Sun and Snow - Actifit: January 30 2022

The extreme cold has lifted, and we are having some gorgeous weather that makes it a truly joyful experience to be outdoors. Many people who live in warmer climates don’t get this experience in the winter, because they don’t have the sun reflecting off the snow. It is really quite wonderful.

I took my dog to the park today and it was so beautiful out! We had a wonderful time.

She loves to run and chase a stick or a ball.

The rest of my pictures are from the trails and the marsh. I love to take pictures at this particular park because the weather and clouds make it a different experience every single day.

There’s a kind of open prairie, with a creek running through it and paths on both sides along the creek.

But the marsh is where I usually capture my most dramatic photos.

Oh from a warm climate where we never see snow, how lovely the lighting bounces of the white.

Nice to learn you having days to go out and enjoy with the dog on trails, watching the seasonal highlight of dry reeds sticking up out the snow.

Yes, it's nearly impossible to get a good picture of her without the snow. She just turns into a black blob!
