Wednesday Walk - On the Lake - Actifit: January 26 2022

It has been just brutally cold here in Minnesota, with temperatures sitting at 30 degrees below freezing, or more, for days on end. So for a few days I’ve had to get my workouts indoors, as I just didn’t have the ambition required to suit up for the arctic.

But I did get out a couple of days ago when at least the sun was shining bright!

Here are a few pictures from my walk on the frozen lake. After each picture I had to quickly put my hands back inside the gloves which contained warmers inside, to avoid getting frostbite!

Ad you can see, the lake becomes a road in the winter.

It also turns into an ice fishing village.

It really was a lovely day, but with a piercing wind. It turned out there were people ice parasailing across the lake!

They were really cruising along fast! Don’t you wonder how they stop when they want to?

Here are some pretty tracks in the snow.

And here is one that shows the wind patterns in the snow.

And a little trail I took through the woods to get back to my car after my walk on the lake.
