Buttered trees - Actifit: November 4 2021
I took my dog for a walk this evening at one of my favorite parks. The golden leaves have lingered there, and I couldn’t help but think of the color of butter as I stride among them, feeling uplifted by them!
Sometimes the autumn colors just take my breath away. I know they will be gone soon and I will be looking at a brown landscape! For now, I am enjoying every moment I am outdoors walking among the trees.

They are so pretty @jayna! I noticed a few days ago, that the sound of walking through them was almost like a rain shower intensifying as you hit a really heavily laden area and then lightening up as you hit a bit of a bare area. It was kind of cool. Listen as you walk, and see if you hear what I hear. Take care and thanks for sharing!
What a lovely observation, @elizabethbit! Yes, the sounds of the leaves vary, from rain showers to running water, to the sound of an old woman saying "hush, hush, hush!"

Thank you, @tattoodjay! Sometimes I wish Autumn would last forever. But I suppose I would eventually miss the other seasons. And for the record, I say the same thing about summer! (Winter... not so much.)
Having lived in places without the seasonal change like here I can honestly say I did miss seasons back then even winter
Now getting older I think I could live without winter lol
I actually love winter, I get just silly crazy excited about snow. But it's cold here for about six months of the year, and I don't miss it when it's gone!
Winter didn’t used to bother me till a few years ago with my lung damage and blood thinners I think I feel it more
Or I am just blaming those rather than admitting I am not as young as I used to be lol 😂

I wonder if I can see those in my lifetime in real life. I so love it, thank you for the walk and photos through it it is like you take me with you.
I'm so glad I could take you along on my walk, @amayphin. I hope you do get to see them in your lifetime. It is quite magical.
It seems impossible, been in the tropics all my life where everything is green in the rainy seasons and brown in sunny days. We also have beautiful trees but not in that level where it changes colors through seasons. But who knows right? I will keep on dreaming, I hope so too. Thank you.
