(ESP-ENG) Cómo va el mercado de fichajes!?
Hello friends, good vibes to all.
The transfer market continues its course even though there is still a little over a month to go until it closes and we must say that yes, we have seen a considerable amount of signings, most of them coming from the Arab Super League. We already talked about this league and its movements that are basically based on finding players whose contracts have expired and therefore are free agents in order to save a considerable amount of money for transfer purposes. But then out of those lands we have seen interesting moves? - Of course we have and today I will try to summarize them a little bit according to the degree of importance for me.
The first thing I want to talk about is what is brewing in Miami in the team owned by David Beckham. The arrival of Messi is more than well known, but a couple of names have also arrived to join him, his former teammates at Barcelona, Sergio Busquets and finally Jordi Alba. The thing is that we are not talking about players who have already lost their game, I don't think that's the case, they are players with a considerable level that will definitely give another color and colorfulness to the team, which is not in its best moment, as well as to the MLS itself. The level of complicity that existed between those players of that Barca was out of this world, they could play with their eyes closed if they wanted to and that now they are again playing for the same club, at least for me, is tremendous.
We must not forget that this is Josef Martinez's club, a striker who has always worked there and with the arrival of these three soccer monsters I hope he can polish himself and learn much more. I believe that Inter Miami will undoubtedly have a different face because even Tata Martino arrived to take charge of the club, all in an attempt to build the team around Messi, which is perfectly understandable. I don't watch MLS, I have to confess, but I won't deny that I will try to watch a game or two to see how this club works once everything is in place.
If there is one piece of news that will probably not sit well with Juventus fans, it is the departure of the Colombian to Inter, the rival club. I don't know if it can be compared as if players from Madrid - Barcelona, River - Boca change jerseys but the reality is that Juve - Inter is the classic of Italy and this transfer will undoubtedly give something to talk about. With Juventus he won 11 titles including the Scudetto, Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup. For me when Cuadrado was at Fiorentina he performed a little better compared to his numbers with Juve, at least in the ratio of goals to minutes played. Now that at Juve if he was much more decisive when it came to creating play and assists. The reality is that he was not seeing minutes with the Vecchia Signora, hence the desire to leave the club.
Inter have had important losses Skriniar, Brozovic so it is hoped that with the arrival of Cuadrado and Marcus Thuram they can compensate, and not to mention Lukaku who seems to be a whole novel that I do not expect to end well. I was honestly surprised by this signing, not because I didn't expect him to leave Juve but because he decided to go to the "enemy" team after a few good years as a bianconero. I hope he does well, I think he is a top player with good dribbling and good speed, the dribbles down the flank that he sometimes launches are spectacular plus sometimes he is synonymous with danger for the opponent's fence.
We were talking about Inter and their losses and we came to another of them, one that for me is one of the most important, the great Cameroonian goalkeeper packs his bags to Old Trafford. A goalkeeper who was formed in the Barca youth team, went to Ajax and then made the move to Inter is undoubtedly one of the references in his position in recent years, the truth is that he is a very good goalkeeper. United gets a player who offers guarantees under the three posts as De Gea was not the same as a few years ago, in fact every time I saw him play I felt that confidence was slowly slipping from his hands; all goalkeepers make mistakes, but it is true that De Gea sometimes made some obvious mistakes.
Ten Hag is keeping the team quiet, we haven't seen any big signings except for this one and Mason Mount from Chelsea. I don't know if it's a policy on his part to keep the squad intact or if it's a decision from above but the reality is that if things continue like this we'll see almost the same team as last season. But I also think that this is a bit the common denominator of the Premier League, we are not seeing big movements, one or the other has given us something to talk about but the waters in England are quite calm. I think this is an excellent signing for the Red Devils, ManU needed to renew their goalkeepers and I think they got one of the best goalkeepers in Europe last season.
I have to be honest here, I have never seen a full game of Arda Güler. And I say this because the things I have heard about this young man go beyond being just a good player, we are talking about a potential star to the point that even Barcelona itself was also in the fight to take the jewel of Turkey. What is the issue? - That in that position and its surroundings Madrid has an excess of players where one has more quality than another so the management that Ancelotti will have to do will be paramount. It is also known that he did not want to leave on loan, as I understand it was an option, he preferred to stay and fight for the position against such beasts that he will have as teammates.
Bellingham, Valverde, Modric, Kroos, Brahim Diaz who arrived from Milan, in short, it will be a nice fight to see who will finally get the starting lineup. We must also mention that Los Blancos have had some important absentees, Benzema and Asensio, who were unequivocal guarantee of goals. I repeat, I do not know much about this player, the only thing I can tell you is that in just over 50 games he made 9 goals and 12 assists with Fenerbahce but beyond those numbers I think the reason for the interest of many is the magic he has when playing and the expectation that generates a player with the characteristics that he can show. It is a signing thought for the future, we may not see him explode in the short term but, well, if a team like Madrid has noticed him it is because he must have something in his boots.
At the moment these are the signings that have caught my attention, obviously there are many out there that I did not mention but if I do this post would be eternal. We will keep an eye on what can happen between now and the end of August, which is when this summer market closes.
Well my people that's all for today, I hope you liked it.
¡Hugs to all, see you next time!
Esos partidos van a estar buenos Buenos.
