Trotamundos de Carabobo cayó eliminado en el séptimo duelo de la final de conferencia ante Guaros de Lara y perdió la oportunidad de revalidar su título de monarca de la Superliga Profesional de Baloncesto.

Trotamundos de Carabobo was eliminated in the seventh duel of the conference finals against Guaros de Lara and lost the opportunity to revalidate its title as monarch of the Professional Basketball Super League.

Desde la creación de la Superliga en el año 2020, ha habido 3 equipos campeones: Spartans Distrito Capital, Guaiqueríes de Margarita y Trotamundos de Carabobo. Este último ha obtenido el campeonato en dos ocasiones, además de ser los actuales campeones. Sin embargo, debido a la eliminación ante los "crepusculares" en el Domo Bolivariano de Barquisimeto, deberán entregar el trofeo al ganador de la Gran Final entre Guaros de Lara y Gladiadores de Anzoátegui.

Since the creation of the Superliga in 2020, there have been 3 champion teams: Spartans Distrito Capital, Guaiqueríes de Margarita and Trotamundos de Carabobo. The latter has won the championship twice, besides being the current champions. However, due to the elimination against the "crepusculares" in the Domo Bolivariano of Barquisimeto, they will have to give the trophy to the winner of the Grand Final between Guaros de Lara and Gladiadores de Anzoátegui.

Después de vencer en los primeros tres juegos de la serie final de la Conferencia Occidental, a Guaros de Lara le tocó sufrir debido al ímpetu y garra de los jugadores del Expreso Azul, que se negaron a no dar batalla en una final que se terminó definiendo contra todo pronóstico en el séptimo y decisivo duelo.

El juego bonito comenzó muy distinto a como terminó desarrollándose. La causa carabobeña dominó los primeros 5 minutos, colocándose hasta ocho puntos por encima en el marcador. Pero después de que el reloj recorriera sus primeros seis minutos, todo pasó a ser para los larenses, que terminaron igualando el primer cuarto a 22 unidades, dando una campanada que terminó despertando al público que quería ver a su equipo avanzar por primera vez a una final absoluta de este joven torneo.

La pizarra se tornó rojinegra desde el segundo periodo hasta el último. Aunque la visita lo intentó y logró recortar una diferencia de casi veinte puntos a solo nueve, no pudieron hacer nada cuando los triples de los locales comenzaron a caer nuevamente, para terminar de alejarse y poner cifras definitivas de 96-78.

En cuanto a la Gran Final entre Guaros de Lara y Gladiadores de Anzoátegui, se espera que sea un enfrentamiento emocionante e intenso, donde ambos equipos darán lo mejor de sí para obtener el título de campeón. Los Guaros cuentan con un juego sólido en todas sus líneas, mientras que los Gladiadores tienen como principal arma su ofensiva explosiva. Los fanáticos del baloncesto venezolano esperan una Gran Final de alto nivel, que consolide a la Superliga Profesional de Baloncesto como uno de los torneos más importantes del país.
