Exploring a 135 Years Old Historical Railway Station of Pakistan During Photwalk|| I am Alive and Thriving Challenge|| My Actifit Report Card: March 22 2025

Asslamoalekum and hello to my #Actifit community. Welcome to another blog. I hope you are all doing well and having a good time. I am also doing pretty well. Today I am going to share the most interesting and historical activity report. It will be the best activity report. So stick it till the end. You will enjoy this report.

For the last few days, I have been planning to visit the historical railway station of my village. So today I decided to go to that particular place.

I got up early in the morning. I offered my fajar prayer and then slept for a while. I got up a bit late in the morning. I took my bike and traveled toward the historical and cultural heritage of Pakistan. It is called Pai Khel Railway Station.

History and Background of Pai Khel Railway Station

This railway station was built during the British era in 1890. It took two years. Its work started in 1888 and was completed in 1890. Pai Khel railway station is located in the district of Mianwali province Punjab of Pakistan. This railway station is located on the north side almost 24 km away from the main city. It is built like a fort. The beautiful building of this railway station is a wonderful monument of Pakistani civilization. The government of Pakistan renovated this railway station many times. A few days ago white work was done on the building of the railway station. People from far-off places come here to visit this outclass building. Its building still stands after passing 135 years. It is the oldest railway station in Pakistan. It shows showing real face of the culture of our village Pai Khel.

I came out of my home and on the way I crossed the Government girl's school and our village canal.

I reached there in the afternoon. First I visited the inner area of this beautiful historical building. When I saw the ticket house I recalled my childhood memories because I used to come here in my childhood days.

A waiting area for passengers was built near the building of the railway station. Because the trend of railway trains has quite decreased that's why there was no rush of people in the waiting area.

Another ticket house near the entrance of the platform was established. Passengers buy tickets from Mianwali to Lahore to that particular ticket house.

The inner position of the building was very pathetic and miserable. The inner view was demanding serious attention from the Government of Pakistan.

I saw an old weight station in the inner building.

Look at the condition of the roof.

I saw the nice plantation done by railway employees near the railway track. There were different kinds of flowers and plants. They were looking beautiful.

The outer view of the building was the most beautiful. It just looked like a brand-new fort. The name of my village Pai Khel was written on a board.

I walked there on the platform of the Railway station for a whiInakistantaned every portion of the Pai Khel Railway building. This really was a majestic beauty. I recommend all tourists around the world to visit this eye-catching fort like the Railway station In Pakistan.
