Yowamushi Pedal | 20 years too late to get excited about sports

Here I am, 20 years late to get excited about sports, it's just drama, let me, and all because of this anime, although more than the anime, it's because of the main character, fuck, I love him completely and just thinking about him makes me smile, I'll tell you why, and the thing is that I'm not the only person this happens to, many more end up the same way as me, and it's an amazing thing to accomplish.

Yowamushi Pedal is going to be about Onoda Sakamichi, a high school student who at the beginning of the school year wants to join his school's anime club, but on the first day he finds out that they closed it due to a lack of members, in his search for members things don't happen as he expected and he ends up joining his school's racing cycling club, and that was one of the best decisions Onoda made in his life.

Aquí estoy, 20 años tarde para emocionarme por los deportes, es solo drama, déjenme, y todo por este anime, aunque más que por el anime, es por el personaje principal, joder, lo amo por completo y solo pensar en él me hace sonreír, ya les diré porqué, y la cosa es que no soy la única persona a la que le sucede esto, muchas más terminan de la misma forma que yo, y es algo increíble de lograr.

Yowamushi Pedal va a tratar sobre Onoda Sakamichi, un estudiante de secundaria que al iniciar el año escolar quiere unirse al club de anime de su escuela, pero el primer día se entera de que lo cerraron por falta de miembros, en su búsqueda de miembros las cosas no suceden como él esperaba y termina uniéndose al club de ciclismo de carreras de su escuela, y esa fue una de las mejores decisiones que Onoda tomó en su vida.

I love Onoda, he is a completely surprising tenderness, from him you never know what to expect, because he is someone who makes the impossible possible, and even if you believe what he is going to say next in a conversation, he never says what you think, he never does what you expect, he is a completely unpredictable little ball of light, and that is why everyone who gets to relate to him gets attached to him, and anyone who watches the anime falls in love with him completely.

The story of him is inspiring and is what made me excited about sports now, or at least sports anime, they have never caught my attention, so watching Yowamushi Pedal was something unexpected, something I did not plan at all and I'm still surprised I did, although I must say that I saw it because a friend of mine has always been a fan of bicycles and somehow thinking about him was what made me decide to watch it, and of course, I recommended it to him.

Amo a Onoda, es una ternura completamente sorprendete, de él nunca se sabe qué esperar, porque es alguien que hace posible lo imposible y aunque se crea qué es lo que va a decir a continuación en una conversación, nunca dice lo que uno cree, nunca hace lo que uno espera, es un bolita de luz completamente impredecible, y por eso todo el que llega a relacionarse con él le agarra cariño, y une que ve el anime se enamora completamente de él.

La historia de él es inspiradora y es lo que me hizo emocionar con los deportes ahora, o al menos con los animes de deportes, nunca me han llamado la atención, así que ver Yowamushi Pedal fue algo inesperado, algo que no planeé en absoluto y me sigue sorprendiendo haberlo hecho, aunque debo decir que la vi porque un amigo es fanático de las bicicletas desde siempre y en cierta forma pensar en él fue lo que hizo que me decidiera a verla, y por supuesto que se la recomendé.

Onoda is not only going to join his school's cycling racing club, but he will slowly become one of its best members, so much so that he will become part of the 6-member group that goes to the most important inter-school race in the country, it will be one of the most incredible things and one of the biggest growths ever.

Onoda will overcome obstacle after obstacle making the impossible possible, he always used a home bike that obviously wasn't made for running, and yet he almost beat someone in an uphill race at his school, because that's another thing, Onoda becomes not only one of the best members of the club, but he becomes one of the best climbers in the club, and you don't know how many times I cried watching Onoda smile as he climbed many mountains, and overcome something that no one else had ever overcome before.

Onoda no solo se va a unir al club de ciclismo de carreras de su escuela, si no que se convertirá poco a poco en uno de sus mejores miembros, tanto así que va a llegar formar parte del grupo de 6 miembros que va a la carrera más importante entre escuelas del país, va a ser una de las cosas más increíbles y uno de los crecimientos más grandes que han existido.

Onoda superará obstáculo tras obstáculo haciendo posible lo imposible, él siempre usó una bicicleta doméstica que obviamente no estaba hecha para correr, y aún así casi le gana a alguien en una carrera cuesta arriba de su escuela, porque esa es otra cosa, Onoda se convierte no solo en uno de los mejores miembros del club, si no que se convierte en uno de los mejores escaladores del club, y no saben la cantidad de veces que lloré viendo a Onoda sonreír mientras escalaba muchas montañas, y superar cosa que nadie más había superado antes.

One of the best things is that Onoda doesn't stop being a hardcore otaku after joining the cycling club because the main reason why he wanted to create the anime club again is so he can have friends to talk about anime with, to be able to have friends that he has common tastes with and always talk to, stop feeling lonely, and he finds those friends in the cycling club, not only talking about bicycles and all that but little by little he makes his classmates watch anime and you can't know how many times I laughed until I had a coughing fit when they all started singing the song 'Love Hime', which belongs to an anime that has the same name and of which Onoda is a fan.

I didn't get a trailer of the series, but I did get this clip of the whole team singing the song, and I died laughing again because I started to sing it too and it is one of the most incredible things, at the beginning everyone made faces of amazement and wanted to run away every time Onoda started to sing it, but they had to give up, learn the song and sing it with him, and not only that, but they also started to watch it because the love for the series that Onoda had was so much that it stuck to them. This is going to be the first part of this review, because I have just seen only two seasons of the series, and I still have the last two seasons to go, and I know I will continue to love them because Onoda is in them, and loving Onoda is something that comes very easy, it is impossible to get irritated with him, and I tried a lot, because he always has a smile on his face and he is someone completely shy and awkward, but no, Onoda deserves all the love in the world, and he will always receive it.

Una de las mejores cosas es que Onoda no deja de ser un otaku empedernido después de unirse al club de ciclismo, porque la razón principal por la que él quería crear de nuevo el club de anime es para poder tener amigos con los cuales poder hablar de anime, poder tener amigos con los que tiene gustos en común y hablar siempre, dejar de sentirse solo, y él encuentra esos amigos en el club de ciclismo, no solo hablando de bicicletas y todo eso, si no que poco a poco él hace que sus compañeros vean anime y no pueden saber las veces que me reí hasta tener un ataque de tos cuando todos comenzaban a cantar la canción de 'Love Hime', que pertecene a un anime que tiene el mismo nombre y del cual Onoda es fan.

No conseguí trailer de la serie, pero sí conseguí este clip de todo el equipo cantanto la cancíon, y me volví a morir de risa, porque me puse a cantarla también y es una de las cosas más increíbles, al prinpcio todos ponian caras de asombro y de querer salir corriendo cada vez que Onoda se ponía a cantarla, pero tuvieron que rendirse, aprenderse la canción y cantarla junto a él, y no solo eso, si no que también comenzaron a verla porque el amor por la serie que tenía Onoda era tanto que se les pegó ese amor. Esta va a ser la primera parte de esta reseña. porque apenas he visto solo dos temporadas de la serie, y me faltan las últimas dos todavía, y sé que las voy a seguir amando porque sale Onoda, y amar a Onoda es algo que se hace muy fácil, es imposible irritarse ante él, y eso que lo intenté mucho, porque él siempre tiene una sonrisa en la cara y es alguien completamente tímido y torpe, pero no, Onoda merece todo el amor del mundo, y lo va a recibir siempre.
