My Actifit Report Card: March 24 2023
Hello Actifitters!
I wish I could say TGIF, but our work schedule is from Tuesday to Saturday which means tomorrow is still a work day. Nonetheless, today was still a great day. Right after work, I was able to do my Friday routine workout.
I started with a 10-minute warm-up of light cardio to get my heart rate up and my body ready for the exercises ahead. Then I did some light bicep curls and tricep push-downs using resistance bands, light enough just to stimulate blood flow and not tire the muscles. After that, I stretched my wrist and did some wrist rotations. Lastly, I did some leg stretches since I'll be doing leg exercises.
For the main workout, I started with pike push-ups, for 3 sets of 11 reps, which is one rep more per set than last week's. The last set was particularly hard to complete, so I guess I'll keep 11 reps for next week. Next, I moved on to burpees without a push-up. I did 3 sets of 13 reps, this is the same as last week. Next, I added push-ups that target my triceps. I did 3 sets of 11 reps, which is one rep more per set than last week's.
After that, I moved on to jumping squats. I did 3 sets of 15 reps. I then did 3 sets of negative pull-ups, with 10 reps. Both are the same as last week. Finally, I finished off with 3 sets of mountain climbers, with 30 reps on the first two sets, then 40 reps on the last set.
After the workout, I spent 10 minutes stretching and cooling down.
I managed to burn a total of around 640 KCal with today's workout. So to replenish my energy I had Korean noodles for dinner.
I was still a little hungry after eating noodles. Luckily we had leftover salted peanuts from yesterday.
