My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2023
Hi fellow actifiters,
I'm feeling a little under the weather today. Several of my co-workers had a flu and I think I might have caught it yesterday. My throat is a little itchy and it feels like getting sore.
Still, I won't let this hinder me from doing Zumba today. So started doing dances from TML crew videos. Did it for around 25mins.
Then I decided to do the tahitian dance. I found this NON STOP 7 MIN MEN - Tahitian dance men challenge. This was really hard on my calf muscles. I wasn't able to maintain the dance squatting posture for long. I needed to straighten or stretch my legs every once in a while.
I want to challenge myself with this dance. I definitely be able to do this dance for the entire seven minutes next time.
I still felt like dancing, so I looked for Hula dance this time. I really love the He Mele No Lilo - Full Hula dance, only thing is that the dance is only for a short while. So I searched a looping version of the song and found this Lilo & Stitch He Mele No Lilo (Near 8 hours). Well, I didn't dance for the whole 8 Hrs though 😅, only around 15 mins.
Lastly, I danced together with the video Men’s Hula - Kalani Pea Concert At The Shops At Wailea for 2 times.
All in all, I've danced for almost an hour, and burned around 600 KCal.
My throat is still a little sore though, so I've made myself a ginger tea. Would have been better with lemon but we're currently out of lemons. So ginger will do for now.
