My Actifit Report Card: October 3 2023
About seven years ago, I installed a Cisco DPC2325 router for my neighbor.
He was dissatisfied with the router provided by his ISP, but he didn’t know how to set up a third party router.
He offered me some money for the help, but I declined and took a beer instead.
[Fast forward to yesterday.]
That same neighbor asked me to install another new router.
During my treadmill workout, I had to relearn how to do it by watching a couple of YouTube videos.
After I installed my neighbor's new router, I took a beer as payment again.
Surprisingly, on my way out, he gave me his old router.
I took it home and immediately expanded the range and capabilities of my home network; that is, I installed a VPN on it and with TOR, it now serves as a secure access point for my home network.
