GROUP ANALYSIS C
Today sees the first two matches of Group C: Argentina VS Saudi Arabia and Mexico VS Poland.
Group C*** sees among its protagonists:
- Argentina
- Saudi Arabia
- Mexico
- Poland
We proceed to analyse the teams:
- Argentina
The Albiceleste national team comes to this World Cup 2022 in Qatar with every ambition to bring home the World Cup. Last World Cup for 'la pulga', Leo Messi. The Argentine talent, one of the strongest in the history of football, has never won a World Cup with his national team and has declared that this World Cup should be his last. Will Messi succeed in this feat? In my opinion he might succeed. So far, only Diego has managed to take the Argentine national team on his shoulders and make it triumph, Leo, who has often been compared to the Pibe De Oro, has not yet succeeded.
Argentina, however, a very tough team. Solidity in defence, quality in midfield and pure talent in attack. A team that makes its offensive quality its best weapon, without a doubt. For me, it easily passes the round, qualifying for the next stages.
- Saudi Arabia
The Sons of the Desert are definitely the least favourite team in Group C. But in my opinion they are aiming to surprise everyone and will go for qualification to the next stage. Obviously, the path is very arduous. Their first fixture is today against Argentina: they must not concede too many goals.
He has no less than THREE Asian Cups on his palmarès. They also reached the round of 16 of the World Cup in 1994. Will they aim to improve or do the same?
- Mexico
The Mexican national team places most of its hopes for doing well in Group C in its key man, Irving 'Chucky' Lozano. Irving, who plays for SSC NAPOLI, is the current symbol of the Mexican national football team. In the past, stars such as Chicharito Hernandez, who was not summoned to this World Cup, or, for example, the great goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, have shone.
For me, Mexico will have to play for qualification to the next group stages with Poland, as Argentina (in my opinion) will not be particularly challenged by any of their 3 rivals in Group C.
- Poland
The Polish national team boasts pure talent among its players. First and foremost is the record-breaking Robert Lewandowski, who incidentally was denied a Golden Ball sensationally during the Covid.
Besides the iconic man Lewandowski, who now plays for Barcelona after many seasons first at Borussia Dortmund and then Bayern Munich, the Polish national team can boast several other talents: Arkadiusz Milik, Piotr Zielinski, Wojciech Szczęsny and many others.
For me, Poland will play for qualification to the next stages with Mexico, but for me they start as slight favourites.
Today Poland meets Mexico, so today will be the first verdict. I expect a scintillating match.
MY PREDICTION
My prediction on the final standings of Group C is:
- Argentina
- Poland
- Mexico
- Saudi Arabia
With Argentina and Poland qualifying for the next stages of this World Cup.
As for today's matches:
Argentina VS Saudi Arabia : 1 ( Argentina wins)
Mexico VS Poland : 2 ( Poland Wins)

I wanted to play a bit of a game and pick one player per team that I think could stand out within the path of this World Cup.
For the Argentina national team: Leo Messi.
For the Polish national team: Piotr Zielinski
For the Mexican national team: Hirving Lozano
For Saudi Arabia: Abdulelah Al-Amri

ANALISI DEL GRUPPO C
Oggi vanno in scena le prime due partite del Gruppo C: Argentina VS Arabia Saudita e Messico VS Polonia.
Il Gruppo C vede tra i suoi protagonisti:
- Argentina
- Arabia Saudita
- Messico
- Polonia
Procediamo ad analizzare le squadre:
- Argentina
La Nazionale Albiceleste si presenta a questa Coppa Del Mondo 2022 in Qatar con tutte le ambizioni di portare a casa il Mondiale. Ultimo Mondiale per "la pulga", Leo Messi. Il talento Argentino, uno dei più forti della storia del calcio, non ha mai vinto un mondiale con la sua Nazionale ed in più ha dichiarato che questa coppa del Mondo dovrebbe essere la sua ultima volta. Riuscirà Messi in questa impresa? Secondo me potrebbe riuscirci. Fino ad ora soltanto Diego è riuscito a prendersi sulle spalle la Nazionale Argentina e a farla trionfare, Leo che più volte è stato accostato e paragonato al Pibe De Oro non è ancora riuscito a centrare l'obbiettivo.
Argentina, comunque, squadra molto ostica. Solidità in difesa, qualità a centrocampo e talento puro in attacco. Una squadra che fa della sua qualità offensiva l'arma migliore, senza dubbio. Per me passa facilmente il girone, qualificandosi per le successive fasi.
- Arabia Saudita
I Figli Del Deserto sono sicuramente la squadra meno favorita del Gruppo C. Ma secondo me puntano a stupire tutti e andranno a giocarsi la qualificazione alla fase successiva. Ovviamente il percorso è molto arduo. Il loro primo appuntamento è oggi contro l'Argentina: sono chiamati a non prendere troppi goal di scarto.
Annovera nel suo palmarès ben TRE coppe d'asia. Inoltre nel 1994 raggiunse gli ottavi di finale della competizione Mondiale. Punteranno a migliorarsi o fare lo stesso risultato?
- Messico
La Nazionale Messicana ripone nel suo uomo chiave, Irving "Chucky" Lozano, la maggior parte delle speranze per fare bene nel Gruppo C. Irving, in forza al SSC NAPOLI, è il simbolo attuale della Nazionale di Calcio Messicana. In passato hanno brillato delle stelle del Chicharito Hernandez, non convocato a questa coppa del Mondo, o ad esempio il gran portiere Guillermo Ochoa.
Per me il Messico dovrà giocarsi la qualificazione alle fasi successive ai gironi con la Polonia, in quanto L'Argentina ( secondo me) non sarà particolarmente insidiata da nessuna delle 3 rivali del Gruppo C.
- Polonia
La Nazionale Polacca vanta talento puro tra i suoi Players. Primo tra tutti il record- breaker Robert Lewandowski, a cui tra l'altro durante il Covid hanno negato un pallone d'oro clamorasamente.
Oltre all'uomo simbolo Lewandowski, che ora milita al Barcellona dopo tante stagioni prima al Borussia Dortmund e poi al Bayern Monaco, la Nazionale Polacca può vantare diversi altri talenti: Arkadiusz Milik, Piotr Zielinski, Wojciech Szczęsny e tanti tanti altri.
Per me la Polonia si gioca la qualificazioni alle faasi successive con il Messico, ma per me parte leggermente favorita.
Oggi la Polonia incontra proprio il Messico, quindi oggi sarà emesso il primo verdetto. Mi aspetto una partita frizzante.
IL MIO PRONOSTICO
La mia predict sulla classifica Finale del Gruppo C è:
- Argentina
- Polonia
- Messico
- Arabia Saudita
Con Argentina e Polonia che si qualificheranno alle fasi successive di questa coppa del mondo.
Per quanto riguarda i match di oggi:
Argentina VS Arabia Saudita : 1 ( Argentina vince)
Messico VS Polonia : 2 ( Polonia Vince)
TALENTI DA OSSERVARE
Ho voluto fare una specie di giochino e scegliere un player a squadra che secondo me potrebbe distinguersi all'interno del cammino di questo mondiale.
Per la Nazionale Argentina: Leo Messi.
Per la Nazionale Polacca: Piotr Zielinski
Per la Nazionale Messicana: Hirving Lozano
Per l'arabia Saudita: Abdulelah Al-Amri

Definitely some upsets today and now we are getting to know the standard of each team and who is playing well or not. Argentina looked second rate today against a fired up Saudi team. Poland and Mexico look average and similar to what Argentina offer. There will be more upsets in this group if the other 3 don't improve quickly.
I agree with you, Argentina was a surprise... in fact it was a very good Saudi Arabia!
Mexico and Poland offered little, but a draw was easily predictable. Although I would have slightly favoured Poland given the big names they have in their squad, and instead Mexico seemed more dangerous at times.
This 0-0 draw between Mexico and Poland benefits Argentina and they can try to wake up and play football!
