nightwalker had two goals : February 19 2025

1000033622.jpg

now how do i even start? i guess it is fitting to start with a great picture. winter sky is really dark, starless in fact. is this only here in tokyo, or is this true in all areas?

for today's nightwalk i had 2 goals, take a great picture of a car and return home earlier. the car picture was for a contest here in hive. ass for the second goal, my housemate would like to have a gym session tonight.

1000033613.jpg

outside the house as i was slowly checking the map, a hoard of bicycle riders passed by. i was slow to react, quite struck at the moment of seeing around 10 riders pass one by one. it was only after seconds later when i realized that it was my chance to take an up close picture. those precious seconds was enough for the riders to ride far. another chance lost. so i went back to checking where best to walk for tonight.

otakebashi bridge area

1000033614.jpg

that bridge was very familiar, but it has been a while since i walked on it. must be ages ago, could not fully remember. but this bridge never looked this bright. was there something new here? i was honestly looking a bit disappointed at this point, i couldn't find any cars. this was a bridge but the cars were so far and in between.

1000033616.jpg

this bridge was one of the very first ones i took pictures of. it was but a simple bridge, no sparkling lights nor elaborate trusses at all. but simple has its own elegance; there is simplicity in beauty. this bridge was extra empty tonight. how could that be? how will i take pictures of cars at this point now?

1000033615.jpg

even the apartment area was deserted. japanese people really likes to stay indoors. that is my only conclusion. occasionally, joggers jog past me. even in winter people take care of their health at least.

kita senju area

1000033617.jpg

i decided to buy some snacks for the long weekend ahead in one of tge grocery shops in kita senju area. it has always been busy in this area and tonight is no different. it was a bit early after, i was still on track on my 2nd goal. but the car pictures proved to be difficult.

1000033618.jpg

after the snack search, the swarm outside significantly shrank. it was nearing 9pm at this point. i had to hurry to keep my 2nd goal at least. i have given up on the car search at thia point. there were few cars, but none caught my attention. how do you even capture a car for a contest submission? i also have no clue.

1000033619.jpg

i had more idea of capturing landscapes, or structures, or architecture. but i really don't have any clue how to capture an interesting photo of a car. and i do not own a car so i am limited to those i see outside. i cannot even come close near one or i will be reported to the authorities for suspicious actions. this photography challenge by @friendlymoose proved to be difficult.

test car

i managed to snap a photo of a car finally, but i don't think it is of quality. at least the owners won't need to call the police if they begin to suspect my behavior, they will just arrest me themselves. oh well!

i managed to reach home early and had a back routine at the gym. one goal accomplished!

as always, AMPING KANUNAY!

You got a good walk in and got your car. So I would say you did good. I really liked the siimplicity of the bridge as well and the fact that it was so well lit. The shopping area was defintely busy for a week day night.

there were so many restaurants and many others in that shopping area and it was near to a station. i guess, having a crowd is just normal.

I watched a documentary about Japanese jails and some of them are so comfy... There are even cases when people surrender themselves just to be put to jail especially in winter... Hahaha XD it's free living space after all ..

Glad the police didn't think you were being suspicious snapping a photo of their car Lol😇
One time a while back, I snapped pictures in town by our bank while the Mrs. used the ATM....... the manager came out to see what I was taking pictures of Lol!😳😇
