rains, tremors, and exploration : November 20 2024

here we are again in rainy tokyo, it is getting colder and rain has contributed to that as well.
this picture was taken in my building's staircase, i live beside a main road.
you hear all the noise from the street but then again, cars in japan do not usually beep: they can but they would rather not.
probably they are just too conscientious not to make noise.
but some vehicles can be quite noisy even with their normal running speeds: yes, i am talking about heavy motorcycles, and they do pass by my street often.

aside from that, there have been many times where heavy vehicles pass by and cause some tremors.
japan is a country known for frequent earthquakes, i could dismiss those as small ones, just to find out that there were no reports.
so to what else do i account them for but to the heavy vehicles on the road.
quite scary to the newcomers, but tokyoites have gotten used to small tremors.
that can be a bad thing though, you don't want too much complacency in a geographically active zone in the world, do you?
you'll never know what will happen so having mental alertness when such disasters come is key to survival.

as it was raining this time, i went to the gym yet again for my cardio.
very short and sweet, and there was nothing to report back there.
there were a couple of gym returnees, i wonder where they have gone in their absence.

i went home to my mobile game instead.
i will have to let my thumb do some workout for my this time, the game had just released a new area to explore.
i'll have to do my nightwalking online this time.
but just a quick side note, along with the new area released are new puzzles to solve, and sadly some of them involves colors.
this has proven to be very difficult for colorblind people like me.
i would have liked to totally ignore all these color related puzzles, it would probably just take seconds for you to solve, but it is taking me forever to recognize patterns.
frustrating!
i would have to explore some color related game settings, i have played some games with colorblind graphic support.
i just hope this big and well known game also have some support for me specially now that they have introduced color related puzzles.
